I would recommend anyone who has a pet to get Petshealth insurance. Petshealth reimburses your claims in a timely manner.

Very quick and responsive.
Overall we were very pleased with the service we recieved. They were quick to handle our claim and we received payment within a week of filing. They were also very good about answering some of our concerns when our payout total did not come out to what we expected. Our only disappointment was to discover that the taxes we paid for our pet's care were not covered. That was not clear in our printed policy that was sent to us. It is on the website, but not easy to find. That should be made more clear and notices should be sent out. They did cover 90% as promised, but before taxes.

Money Well Spent
Monty found us late last summer. He was just a little kitty but he had a wonderful temperment. Since I already had two cats, I was a little leary of taking in a new "free" kitty. However, he wouldn't take no for an answer. We noticed that his paw was swollen and he was limping. I took him into my vet and had him treated. The Cat Clinic North urged me to think about insurance for him. I had never taken out pet insurance in the past and I had delt with some extensive vet bills in my time so I gave Trupanion a try. Then Monty developed some skin problems. It is worth every penny I have spent on premiums. They work closely with my vet, my vet has helped me out with every claim and I was delighted to get reimbursed for over $1,200 quickly and without any hassles. I can't praise this service enough.

THE BEST PET INSURANCE COMPANY AROUND.
AFTER GETTING MY BICHON FRISE I KNEW THAT I WAS GOING TO NEED PET INSURANCE. AFTER REVIEWING SEVERAL OTHER COMPANIES I DECIDED TO GO WITH EMBRACE. AT FIRST WHAT DREW ME IN WAS THE NAME."EMBRACE" HOW CAN YOU GO WRONG WITH A NAME LIKE THAT. BUT LITTLE DID I KNOW THAT IT WOULD TURN OUT TO BE THE BEST CHOICE FOR PET INSURANCE. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS OUTSTANDING. ALSO I HAVE GENERATED A FEW CLAIMS AND SO FAR I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS. CLAIMS ARE HANDLED EFFICIENTLY. ALSO IF THERE IS A DELAY YOU ARE NOTIFIED PROMPTLY. AND ALL CLAIMS ARE EXPLAINED TO YOU.ANYTIME I CALL EMBRACE FOR WHATEVER IT MAYBE, I'M ALWAYS GREETED WARMLY AND PROFESSIONLY. I HAVE NOTHING BUT PRAISE FOR EMBRACE. So glad we went with Healthy Paws
These folks are awesome. My pup had to go to an emergency weekend clinic and stay overnight. She also needed medication and lab work. The staff at the clinic faxed our claims over to Healthy Paws, and we got our reimbursement very, very quickly (couple of days). We received an email from Healthy Paws right after our reimbursement, asking how the dog was doing. It was such a nice and appreciated personal touch.
