wonderfully unusual insurance company

In modern times, we're so used to getting worked over by the system, particularly healthcare, so when I had a good experience with Healthy Paws, I was floored. They are kind, caring, and available on the phone without all the menus you typically have to go through with human insurance companies. I don't know why they seem to have so much integrity, and I can't imagine how they stay in business because they are so exceptional and fair. It was unusual to have an insurance company calling ME to make sure they had all my claims. And they reimbursed quickly without pulling any funny stuff. Wonderful company, and if I can't have decent health insurance for myself, then I'm glad my furry children can have the best.

Highly recommended company!!

Our dog is only 18 months and sometimes we think of him as a "lemon" because of all his issues, but thanks to Embrace we are able to get all of his needs met. We have the accident and illness policy and Embrace's low monthly rates really pay off when the large unexpected vet bills occur. Their customer service is superb and they always correspond in a timely manner. We are very happy with the service and reimbursement that we have received thus far with Embrace and we would definitely recommend them.

Buying an Out of State Pet Insurance Policy

While I was researching Pet Insurances I was very hesitant about buying an out of state insurance policy , but this one has not disappointed me at all. I highly recommend Embrace Pet Insurance.

Pet Insurance is a Great Idea

I have had great service with ASPCA Pet Insurance. There is always someone to talk with. They are friendly and clear. The program I have selected suits us well. I had two claims last year and the process was easy to follow on line and the payments came in a timely manner. They even notified me via email. So far so good!

Very pleased

I have been very pleased with the plan. The last claim was just a small urinalysis but they all add up over time. I am so glad I have a good insurance plan for my cat. My only complaint is that processing seems to be taking a bit longer recently compared to one year ago. The claim submission to receipt of a check was appx. 2 weeks for the last claim. Which is still good. But it was only 8~9 days a year ago. I would have given 10 with the processing speed of 1 year ago.

Great Job Embrace!

My 1.5 year old Leonberger, Zoe, had a slight, but persistent limp for a number of months. I had her examined by both my regular vet, and a holistic vet, and they could not find anything wrong. Both vets recommended seeing an orthopedic specialist, who did a thorough exam and Xrays. He determined the problem was in her shoulder (fortunately not OCD - Osteochondritis disicans, but most likely a small tear in her shoulder capsule). He recommended a month of laser and physical therapy (underwater treadmill), 2x a week (along with reduced play time with other dogs). This helped solve the problem...limp seems to be gone. Embrace covered all the above treatments! 2012 is my second year with Embrace. My experience with Embrace in 2011 was so good (coverage, customer service, claims, reimbursements) that I enthusiastically renewed for 2012. This year I decided to also sign up for the wellness rewards, as it is a great deal financially, and incentive to keep up on wellness practices for my dog. Great job Embrace! I highly recommend Embrace.

Couldn't be more thankful!

At first we were skeptical about pet insurance, is it really neccessary? Yes!!! Being that we now have 3 dogs ranging in ages 4 months to 13 years we can see the reasoning behind it. We have our oldest dog diagnosed as diabetic and 2 younger Labs that are super mischievious. It has given us peace of mind that if something isn't quite right there is no need to wait to get them taken care of! Would you wait on your kids to the Dr's? Our 3 year old Lab became very ill at the age of 6 months and 3 trips to the vet later she is happy and healthy! Best part was knowing that after a total of $1500 we were reimbursed a good portion of that. That in itself paid for the policy. Just like "our" insurance policies there are exceptions but I would recommend ASPCA Health Insurance to anyone!

HEALTHY PAWS IS #1 WITH ANNABELLE

We adopted a large/giant breed from a local shelter little over a year ago and decided to get her (Annabelle) insurance for many reasons . One for down the road when she gets older for her hips.Large dogs especially hers our guess on breed is a rottweiler mix with possibly Neufoundland/Bernese mountain dog/ German Sheperd/Retriever mix. And second she eats everything insight and some are not food. Recently she was treated for her Knee( luxating patella) She is doing great no surgery thankfully just some medicine and supplements for her and a strict diet but at 1 1/2 years old and 90+ pounds it isn't easy. Healthy Paws is so caring for our Annabelle we can't thank them enough. We have had over 4 claims in just the first 2-3 months of signing up for the insurance and they are very quick to take care of the claims this last one came before we had to bring Annabelle back for a recheck. Our veterinarian was surprised how fast and he is going to recommend them to all his patients.

The best sums it up!

My senior girl has CKD(kidney disease). Healthy Paws has been there every step of the way. I have had many many many claims with them since my girl got diagnosed with CKD. :( Quick turn around on claims, EASY claims process. Easy for the vets as well, which is super important. Great communication, friendly staff. They make it clear, simple and quick. They are clearly the best. I promote them when ever I can, as I have had nothing but the best customer service with them.
