So far, so good!
My dog is just under a year old, and I've recently had to take him to several vet appointments and run various tests, x-rays, do an ultrasound, etc. It's been the first time since I got him the insurance at 8 weeks that I've actually started utilizing it. I've been very happy with how quickly Healthy Paws has processed the claims I've sent in, and sent reimbursement checks once I reached my deductible.

It is great
The only thing I do not like is that they do not pay for the physical befor they cna diagnosis something they need to be check out and that is not covered. Other than that the insurance is great.

Speedy reimbursement!
I signed up for direct deposit and started submitting my claims online. On my dog's last issue at the vet, I submitted my claim on Friday and the reimbursement was in my account the following Monday. Now that's fast!

Healthy Paws is the best thing we could have done.
I dont know what we would have done without Healthy Paws. Our little dog Charlie has had severe allergies for the last few months and without Healthy Paws, we would have never been able to afford all her medical care. Healthy Paws has not only paid 90% of all her medical coverage, but they have also been incredibly kind and supportive, and very timely with our reimbursements throughout this whole process. Having to get medical care for a beloved dog is tough, emotionally and financially...but having good affordable health insurance gives you a peace of mind through the tough times. Awesome!!
My 18 month old Lab mix fractured a canine tooth while home alone in her wire crate. We think she caught her mouth in the wires under the door, got stuck and then broke her tooth at the gum line trying to free herself. The veterinary dentist said hers was classic dental fracture from a crate. We have used wire crates for the past 15 years with many dogs--but no more wire crates for us!Healthy Paws was excellent. This was my first claim for the 2 dogs I have insured. The were very helpful, responded same day to my claims and I received their check 6 days after Hazel's tooth extraction. They even sent a e-mail a week later to see how Hazel is doing. I am really impressed with their service! I'm one very happy customer!!
