Worst pet insurance company
When we got our dog, we went online and picked nationwide insurance because we thought it was the best policy out there. We purchased the most expensive policy that you had to offer. When our dog got impaled on a branch and had to go in for emergency surgery, the staff at the veterinarian hospital asked us what insurance we had. When we said Nationwide the rolled there eyes and said “good luck”. We soon found out why. The bill for surgery and two night hospital was $5,200. Nationwide paid $800 stating it was the same as a dog bite. After appealing, you paid an extra $600+. We spread the word on social media about what you did and we are presently shopping for another insurance carrier.

Disappointed that ear infection medication was not covered fir our 3.
Disappointed that ear infection medication was not covered fir our 3.5 year old dog. She had ab ear infection when we had her first check at 14 weeks when we got her from the breeder. She hasnt had one since so I do not feel this is a per existing condition.

Satisfied Customer.
All the necessary communication was done between the Veterinarian Office and Trupanion regarding first the removal of a few baby teeth, and later a couple of adult teeth extractions to address the misalignment of adult teeth for our seven month old small dog (Shih Tzu/Bichon Frise/Yorkie mix).
