I'm so happy that I took the time to take out heal
I feel relieved to know that my dog is insured; one never knows what will happen that will require a vet. I didn't know her past history as she's a stray that I adopted. My claim was promptly reviewed and settled.

Happy
have had Embrace pet insurance for 5 years and have not needed it until recenlty. My dog began having heart problem at he age of 9.There are a few diffent policies that one can opt for, but I believe the one I chose worked best for me. In all the insurance has paid for it self.I had to submit 3 claims within aprox a month and they were all accepted, diagnostic for his heart condition. With this help my pet will be able to live a longer happy life, Thank You embrace for your promptness and care.

Feline Emergency Surgery Claim handled within days
Morgan, age 1 yr, 2 mos. underwent emergency surgery at Ardenwood Pet Hospital, in Fremont, CA. after ingestion of red sewing thread, endangering his intestinal tract. The claim form was sent to Trupanion on a Tuesday, and by Thursday, I was e-mailed that 90% of the vet bill was covered - and a check would be on its way to me. I had just gone to the bank to make a payment toward the $1,000+ bill that morning. Trupanion came through for Morgan at a most crucial time. Thanks to Trupanion's Claim Department for their excellent service and support. ntd18@sbcglobal.net

Waist of Money
We got a 4 month old Terrior who has gotten sick several times first with upset stomach, then an ear infection and finaly was diagnosed with Hip Displaysia and had surgery all before reaching 9 month. I got insurance when she was 6 month old and nothing i listed above was covered by embrace. They brushed everything off as a pre-existing condition which is not covered. I don't know about you but i don't see how an upset stomach in a 4 month old puppy becomes a pre-existing condition. I understand not covering a $2000 surgery but not covering an $120 vet bill for an upset stomach?

Reimbursement Received before Credit Card Charged!
Healthy Paws has been absolutely wonderful! We only started our policy for our 8 year old bichon mix a couple months ago, and he started acting lame around Christmas time. I took him to the vet and he had an exam and xrays which showed a knee problem. We were referred to a specialist and we submitted our first claim for the xrays and pain meds. After receiving our dog's full medical history and reviewing it for 10 business days as was stated online, Healthy Paws approved the payment of a reimbursement, after our $250 deductible. Next, the specialist confirmed that our dog had an ACL tear and needed surgery. I called Healthy Paws and they assured me that the surgery would be covered. When the surgery was performed last week, we paid the bill and the vet faxed in the claim form. We received the reimbursement check for over $2500 TWO DAYS after the claim was submitted: even before the credit card was charged for the surgery! I am amazed by the promptness and caring demonstrated by this company, and I am telling all my friends about them!
