So far so good
I've had Embrace for about 4 years now and have submitted about 5 claims, all minor. No complaints so far. For the last couple of years Embrace has been taking longer to respond, but I assume this is because business is booming. Still, I've never had to wait for longer than 1 1/2 months to have a claim settled, and no service that I expected to be covered has been rejected.

The Best Pet Health Insurance Available!
Thank God for Healthy Paws! I spent a lot of time researching all the Insurance Companies and after reading all the "fine lines" it was clear that Healthy Paws offered the best plan available. It seemed too good to be true, but in fact, it is true! When my Miniature Schnauzer puppy, Shizzle, came down with a serious Respiratory Infection, Healthy Paws covered everything the plan states, along with the follow up treatment that the vet recommended. I didn't have to compromise the quality of Shizzle's care by cutting back on treatments and testing because I had faith that Healthy Paws would be on my side, and they were. Soon after the Respiratory Infection, I caught her munching on a rotting mouse carcass, which resulted in terrible GI problems and a Leptosperosis scare. Again, Healthy Paws came through. I was able to take Shizzle to her awesome veterinarian and they took great care of her! Not only has the Insurance been a blessing from a financial standpoint, but Healthy Paws has excellent customer service. Every time I have called them with a question, I was able to speak with a friendly, compassionate, and informed live person. And when someone didn't know the answer to the question, I received a call back within a few hours with the answer. They also send nice personalized emails checking up on Shizzle. They let you know they really care! I've made it my personal mission to tell everyone I know with a pet about them. They have been amazing!

Embrace - The Best
Having gone through three other insurance companies, Embrace is finally a company that actually reimburses and follows the terms of its agreement. the deductible is actual ANNUAL, not per visit as was the case with other companies, and they don't reimburse up to their acceptable amount; they have reimbursed on what was actually billed. The service is prompt always, via email. I am very very very satisfied

Wellness Welcome
The Wellness insurance option is a great addition. Poppy is the first pet we have insured...and the first we have had a claim on life-threatening event. Embrace was there when we needed it most. And the 'Wellness' component helps make certain you are current on shots and general health exams....wonderful.

I've use another insurer in the past, but if I actually needed to make a claim I found their co-pay amounts decreased. Not so with Trupanion - no matter how many times I've need to claim for my dog they still pay 90% - and they do it quickly. I do wish they would cover the examination fees though.

Beware!!!
Beware of the fine print that says that when your policy auto renews, anything in the 90 days prior to that renewal will be considered a preexisting condition. We had this insurance for 2 years and it paid some of the claims...not the full 80% that it claims to. This is because they decide what is the allowable amount for a procedure. We live in a mountain town 2 hours from the closest city and vet costs are high in our area. I would not use this company for pet insurance again. Fast friendly service but a smile does not pay the bills.

Excellent, very caring and quick response to claim
This company receives an excellent rating with me! Their personnel are so very caring and show concern about my pet's health. They are always accessible and keep you informed on the claim status. They responded back with enthusiasm when I sent them a picture of my max and Maizee.! I am very pleased with the coverage they have provided and the excellent way they keep me informed
