Claim handled quickly
I have a goldendoodle puppy. She was diagnosed with a UTI at about 3 months old. Her claim was processed very quickly and it was very easy - I just had the vet sign the claim form and make a copy of her records and invoice and faxed everything in. The claim was covered at 90%.

I assumed heartworm meds would not be covered at all, but was very pleasantly surprised that it was all covered.

Prompt, courteous service and easy to understand claims process. Or first bankclaims went smoothly and quickly and the cheque received. What surprised me most was the follow-up email asking how our Katie was doing following her surgery - amazing customer service!

Problem with every single claim ever made!
I am so furious and frustrated with this insurance company because of all the stress it causes my family and myself. I have never had a claim go through with them without having to fight for a claim in which they left out. I invested in the highest level (secure 4) and they would not cover an ear infection until I called them to complain about that. They also did not cover my dog's annual exam, vaccination and heartworm prevention even though it is stated on every one of their pamphlets and forms that it is covered through secure 4. I find it ridiculous that I have to follow up with them every single time I make a claim and they can't seem to get their own plans right. I thought pet insurance was supposed to put me at ease, but instead I feel like all my money is just being flushed down the drain because they refuse to compensate me for most things I claim. What's the point on investing in this then?

I am very thankful I have embrace insurance as my dog has had numerous problems this year. While the last payout took two months which was the longest time they still came through.

I really enjoyed using trupanion! Our vet submitted the claim on our behave, they requested all applicable medical history and kept me up to date with emails. They responses promptly to any email questioned I had and mailed me a cheque in a timely manner.

EXCELLENT
We have had too many issues with our puppy who just turned one year old. Who would've thought he would have knee problems that required surgery and medication! And who would have thought he'd ingest part of his cone (numerous times) he had to wear while recovering. Luckily, we were smart enough to insure him with Healthy Paws Insurance. The coverage was great and the claims were processed so fast we couldn't believe it. Healthy Paws gives us the piece of mind when something unexpected happens. Best pet insurance plan ever!
