Great service and peace of mind
Our sweet 11+-year old cat has developed cancer which can be treated as a chronic condition. She has been insured with Trupanion for many years. The diagnostics and interim care were very expensive (nearly $4,000 in costs in 7 months). The ongoing treatment and monitoring will be perhaps $1,000 per year for the rest of her life.Our kitty is responding very well to the treatments and is once again her happy self. Trupanion has paid all claims promptly, with a caring attitude and great follow-up. Thank you to Trupanion for its excellent insurance plan and helpful staff. There is another benefit to having pet insurance: we always travel with peace of mind. Our pet sitter and our vet both know that if anything happens to our kitty while we are away, cost is not an issue: the treatment should be based on what's best for our pet in the long run.

First Experience, High Expectations Met
A year or two ago I researched insurance plans on sites like this and ultimately decided to go with Healthy Paws over some others. Yes, it is a tad more expensive than some of the other top rated plans, but I figured it would be worth it if the reviews were accurate. That said, after having to make my first claim this month I can attest that the reviews are correct. The claim process was very quick and easy - and the Healthy Paws staff very helpful and caring. They even check in to see how your pet is doing after treatment - in my case a broken toe on my cat. Suffice it to say, I have no regrets with choosing them as my pet insurer and I now have the peace-of-mind that if something more severe were to ever happen that Healthy Paws would be there for me and my pet.

Great service so far
This is the first time we have had pet insurance and it's been an excellent experience so far. We are using the Wellness option and our first check was received within 10 days of the visit. The communication, documentation, and follow up have been great. We have also had to call on a few occasions and have gotten to a live person very quickly, a welcome change to most customer service calls we make.

Very easy to work with Embrace.
I recommend getting Embrace because you just never know what can happen to your loved pet. My female 9 year old lab had urinary tract infections for over a year and finally she had to have surgery to correct the problem and Embrace helped us financially. It was so nice to have help with an unexpected expense.

Thank you Healthy Paws!!
I was hesitant to sign up for pet insurance. I've heard some horror stories about various companies. I did my research and decided on Healthy Paws. I got the policy for Ajax May 2013. Two weeks ago I had to rush him to the ER with a fever of 104. Tests confirmed pancreatitis. Five days later another rush to the ER with severe gastroenteritis as a result of the pancreatitis. This time he stayed overnight. After 2 ER visits and a vet visit he is finally better. During all of this I never had one problem with claims submission or payment. Healthy Paws paid my claims as soon as they were submitted! Within 24-48 hours I had a response and received confirmation that the claim had been processed and payment was on the way. I can't tell you what peace of mind having this policy has provided me. It is the best thing I could have done. I love this company!
