Absolutely Fabulous
Dog got bronchitis -- took her to the vet at 4 pm. Vet's office filed Claim for me with Trupanion. That evening I had a call from Trupanion confirming a couple of things. email immediately followed outlining the coverage, which was exactly as described when I purchased the insurance. Check arrived a few days later. Needed a second round of antibiotics. Office filed claim again. Quickly received email and a few days later--payment for the pills. I wish my own medical care was this efficient and prompt!!

Quick in response
We took the pup in due to coughing and sent in the claim in case it would amount to more than the innitial visit. Thankfully it did not and Amelia got well from good care and and minimum meds. Thank you for your quick response.Linda

fox tail surgery
My Alaskan Malamute had a Fox tail on her flank discovered by her groomer. The mass was the size of my fist. Surgery found a track of 8inches. This was the first claim I have filed and was very pleases in the prompt manner in which it was handled and the ease in filing it. I am so glad that I have insured my dogs with your company.

Horrible experience
I signed up for Embrace a few months ago. My cat had an accident that caused lameness and laceration on his hind leg and I brought him to the vet. I submitted my claim to Embrace. They denied me coverage, stating that it was a related incident to a wound that my pet had had prior to my signing up for the policy. It is completely unrelated. I am so disappointed. What a waste of my money and time. Furthermore they took more than three weeks to come to this decision. Very bad customer service.

Top notch cutomer service, honest company
Very clear explanation of what's covered and what's not.Checks are sent within few days of submitting claims. I like their Wellness program that allows to save money on non-accident/illness procedures. Very personal, efficient service if you have any questions.

Excellent coverage and customer service
ASPCA Pet Insurance gives me great peace of mind when it comes to my English Bulldog's health. I have had preventative, diagnostic, pre-scheduled surgeries and emergency services with ASPCA and every experience has been hassle-free and quick.

Quick Reimbursement
My black Lab got Thyroid cancer and needed to have a surgery to remove the thyroid. When I submitted the claim, I was not sure that the insurance would cover all the expenses (diagnosis, surgery and follow-up appointments). Thanks to ASPCA, the claims were processed quickly and the reimbursement checks came very soon. Now my pet is doing well and she is happy and active.

The MORE Claims, the LESS they pay.
Petsecure started out as a good company. Then our dog developed pancreatitis and required two hospitalizations and expensive vet treatment over the course of two years. While Petsecure did pay their portion of the our claims, each time we submitted a claim, their percentage of coverage dropped. First it was 80%, then a letter stating it was going down to 70%, then 60%. This continued until our dog was finally put to sleep. We had the Petsecure2 plan which covered the euthanasia. Even through that last claim indicated the dog had died, Petsecure managed to send us a letter stating that our coverage was now decreased to 50% (for our now dead dog!). When I sent them a scathing email about sending the letter about reducing coverage for an obviously deceased dog, they claimed that their department did not yet know of the euthanasia. Interesting, because some other department knew of the claim and managed to send out a letter further reducing our coverage for our dead dog. So, I guess this shows where their priorities lie - protecting themselves. I am not sure I would use petsecure again. Most companies and reviews I read are entirely mediocre. I feel at the mercy of these insurance companies. It may be to our best interests to simply set aside some money every month for vet costs rather than use an insurance company.

Easy to use and great customer service!
Used the wellness benefit to pay for a spay and gastroplexy on my bloodhound. Easy to print out claim form and have the vet fax it for me. My claim was paid within 2 weeks. The whole time the customer service was excellent with emails keeping me up to date on the claim status. Embrace even automatically changed my bloodhounds status to spayed and saved me money for next year. Haven't had yo use the emergency coverage and hipe I don't have to but I'm keeping the coverage for as long as I can.

Healthy Paws is outstanding
We have Healthy Paws for our Basset Hound Charley. The premium is very reasonable and claims are processed promptly. Charley became ill with pancreatitis last week, and he saw his vet on Thursday and Friday. Both claims were processed by Friday afternoon, and the reimbursement is great. They sent an email this morning asking how he is doing. Happy to say he went for his final checkup this morning & all is well. We recommend Healthy Paws whenever we can. Our vet is totally impressed with our coverage. Thank you for your genuine concern and caring for our furry loved ones!
