Easy Wellness reimbursement
Simple and FAST Wellness reimbursement!I mailed the bill from our vet for a vaccine, heartgaurd and frontline to Embrace and I had a check in the mail for the full amount in a week! What an easy system- no fighting with customer service reps, no letters of justification… just the service they promised- delivered immediately. I wish they offered human policies!

They need to make there polices clearer!
The policy should a lot you x amount a year. Instead you never know how much they are going to cover on the claim each time a firm is submitted. Make the it known to your clients what they are covered for.

Superior coverage ... yet affordable.
After many years with VPI, where their rate schedules neverbegan to reflect actual rates charged by vets in my city, I switched to Healthy Paws several years ago. My 12 year old Shane, a 30 lb. terrier/spaniel mix, started walking in an odd manner. X-rays showed he had herniated discs near his tailbone. A month later he had trouble getting up to walk, and was experiencing pain. Went to the top rated neurosurgeon in the county, and after mri and surgery and a bill of more than $6k, Healthy Paws came through with a check for 90%. It has been 4 weeks since the surgery and Shane is walking fine and wants to run and play like when he was younger. Could not recommend them more highly!

Couldn't ask for more
We have had such a wonderful experience with Trupanion thus far. The monthly fees for our cat have seemed reasonable. And they've more than paid for themselves. Our cat required several expensive procedures to remove almost half of her teeth due to resorption issues. That itself was stressful, as was the fear over whether we'd have a good experience with the insurance. We needn't have worried about that. Trupanion was very fast in responding to our pre-authorization requests (responding within the same day) when we explained the time-sensitive nature of our requests. And after submitting our claim forms, they indeed covered 90% of eligible expenses after the deductible. We received payment within a week or two of claim submission, as well. On top of that, every interaction I had with them over the phone was quite pleasant. In addition to discussing the details of the work our cat needed, they showed concern and always wished us and our cat well. That was a nice touch, on top of the already great service. This has been our only interaction with Trupanion over the 2 years or so we've had coverage, but based on this experience, we'd absolutely recommend them.

Embrace lives up to its advertising
I have a new puppy that needed her first wellness exam. I found the claims process to be quick and easy. The long time taken to complete was because my faxing was corrupted and re-sending was delayed as I went on vacation. My follow-up phone calls to get the claim on track were more than satisfactory and the Embrace representative was caring, knowledgeable and professional. My one disappointment was that Embrace did not contact me that the faxed forms were received corrupted, I only found this out when I made a follow-up call to check status. This prevents me from giving a 10 rating I researched several pet insurance companies and thus far I am very pleased that I chose Embrace as they deliver as advertised.

Great experience
My dog ate 3 of my plants and had to have surgery to have it removed as it was compacted in her tummy and blocking her intestine. I called Healthy paws to make sure and to find out the process and they instructed me on how to get the claim going once she had her surgery. It was fast & easy, fill out the claim form and send the form with the invoice, as simple as that. All the way, they were in touch via email , concerned about my dog, claim got processed quickly. They even inquired about her a week later. I couldnt have been more surprised as to the care they showed . I would highly recommend them.

Embrace is definitely the best insurance out there
I researched pet insurance after my dachshund passed away from a lengthy illness - for which I did not have insurance for. Every month her medical care varied from 800-2300. I was fortunate enough to have a job which enabled me to pay her bills. That said, when I adopted my next dog, the first thing I did was sit down and dedicate some serious time to research all of the Pet Insurance companies. I had it narrowed down to two - Embrace + Trupanion, but after doing detailed research (phone calls etc) I decided Embrace was far superior as far as coverage, price, varied plans and overall professsionalism + friendliness. The peace of mind knowing no matter where I am with my dog, that we are covered and the idea of knowing I can walk into an ER to have her examined and not sweat the bill is a huge relief. The reiumbursment time for claims has never been longer than two weeks, tops. I've now been with them for almost 4 years and have recommended them to anyone and everyone I come into contact with. My dog just had surgery to remove lumps on her head - and the process for filling out the forms is painless (By the way, most vets will do it for you - just email them the claim form and they will fill out the claim and fax/email to Embrace. Easy breezy. And as far as the number one question is pet insurance worth it? See my first paragraph.

Excellent service, excellent coverage
I can't say enough about Healthy Paws. Their website is easy to follow, their claims process makes it easy to submit documentation -- the whole process is simple and efficient. They are so quick to notify you of receipt, to make a final determination, and to send back reimbursements. I am thrilled to have them on my side. Not only are they easy to use, they are quite caring and thoughtful. They personally reach out to inquire regarding the health of my dog when she is ill. I always feel like Healthy Paws is my partner, and one that is on our side. I have used other pet insurance carriers with previous animals -- though now I will only use Healthy Paws.

An insurance company that lives up to it's promise
As luck (bad luck!) would have it, in March of 2013 Madison was diagnosed with lymphoma. To make a long story somewhat shorter, by the time she died December 5, the medical bills exceeded $22,000. And of this amount, our insurance company paid all but about $2500. But it was not the fact that--how unbelievable!–here was an insurance company that actually paid; it was the spirit in which it paid. We would send in a claim form on, say, a Monday; we would receive our check for the 80% (less the office visit) by Thursday, and then it would be three weeks before the charge even hit our credit card. The payments came with personalized notes from the company telling us how glad they were to be able to help us affordably sustain Madison’s life. (By the way, that eight months of treatment gave Madison, up until the very last day, quality time; she was a happy dog and her brother Bill continued to play with her and enjoy her company). To top it all off, in the middle of Madison’s chemotherapy, I discovered online a new experimental hormone therapy that was very expensive but held out the prospect of, perhaps, many, many more months, or even years, of quality life. I contacted the company and asked if they would pay for it. They said, in effect, “let us think about it.” Two days later I got an email that advised me that the treatment had been approved. Those experimental treatments cost about $4500; we paid $900 of the cost. And while I will never know how much more time those treatment
