Lack of support
My dog was having stomach issues for over 3 months where we was have diarrhea more often than not. We went through the regular steps with the vet and nothing was working. Then it was prescribed by the vet to do the Doggybiome fecal test. With the results in hand and the fright of the results we went on the Gut Restore protocol. This has work dramatically in my pet. He is return to normal. When I received the result of the claim I was denied because they deemed this as unconventional medication. My thought is that this is just a way to take my money and not give any back. I guess their slogan of being there for you and your pet when you need them doesn’t hold water. Not a happy person at all.

Claim review breakdown done WRONG
Trupanion’s claim adjusters when reviewing claims for new and existing conditions are done inefficiently and wrongly when to or not to apply customer’s deductible are done incorrectly. I’ve experienced numerous times when I submit claims for my dog’s condition that deductible has already been met, adjuster would “double dip” by applying my deductible for the same condition.

Above and Beyond
I have had Healthy Paws for my Dog Jasper for 8 years. They are by far THE BEST pet insurance you can have. Jasper had Cancer 2 years ago and it was a lengthy & expensive treatment. Healthy Paws paid the claims quickly, what a life saver. Now Jasper tore her CCL and again an expensive surgery. Healthy Paws even sent a personalized email asking how Jasper was doing after the surgery. Absolute best pet insurance hands down.

Best Insurance experience Ever
We have always received great service and quick claims settlement from PetsPlusUS . Recently our Newf Oscar ruptured a cruciate ligament and after various tests it was decided that TPLO surgery was required for his left hind leg.
Throughout this whole process we have been supported by PetsPlusUs from the original X rays, purchase of a Help Em Up harness to the actual TPLO surgery. It is a pleasure to deal with such an excellent insurance provider and also a rare thing in these times to have a company live up to their commitments. Bravo PetsPlusUs. You are a great partner in the life of my beloved Oscar.

Same for me here!! I supposed to have 80% back and nothing. My first and last year with them! 80$/ months just to help a big compagnie get bigger that's it!! DON'T RECOMMANDE PPU!!
