My sincere thanks!
I have had pets plus us and my dog Benito for 5 years. I applied for this insurance upon welcoming our family frenchie into our home and I have never had to use it up until now, and let me just say that while our doggie has never had any serious health concerns the unexpected happened and pets plus us made it so easy the whole way through this lengthy process of trying to figure out what was going on with our pet and further more when i was unsure of how to proceed with certain claims i was able to call customer service and talk to a real life person who not only guided me through the claim for reimbursement but was compassionate in asking me how my dog and myself were doing while figuring out care. that was an extra that i truly wasn't expecting but it felt good to know that i was being viewed as more than a claim. I highly recommend them not only is the coverage great but so is the customer service and the process is incredibly easy. Thank you pets plus for making a scary situation a whole lot easier to go through. Ps: Benito is going to be A-ok after some treatments that I can afford for him thanks to his coverage!!

Stay away
We signed up for pet insurance a year ago. We got denied our claim the first time we had to use it. You are better off putting money in savings for pet insurance than paying for a corrupt business that chooses what it wants to pay. My dog had NO pre-existing condition. My dog got his first ear infection, and he was denied. Now, we lose money paying monthly pet insurance and a vet bill. Do you think they would offer us a refund? Absolutely not! SCAM SCAM: The best advice I can give is to avoid this company.

Best Pet Insurance Ever!!
I have a labradoodle that loves to eat absolutely anything! (including socks) He has already had 2 surgeries to remove contents from his intestines and stomach. The first surgery, we did not have insurance. We decided that since he loved eating everything, we probably needed to get insurance for him. After doing some research, we decided to go with and Accident & Illness Plan through Pets Best. They have been extremely easy to work with and have reviewed and paid, or applied to our deductible, every claim we have had to submit on our labradoodle. We highly recommend giving them a try!

Regrets
I'm sorry I left my other pet insurance for Pet's Best. I'm paying a monthly premium and my cat got sick. They haven't paid a dime to me plus they won't reimburse for his medicine.

Great coverage, easy experience.
"My dog Henry had a suspicious mass in his paw that needed a biopsy that required him to be knocked out. Since he was being knocked out anyway, I had some dental cleaning done too. I was worried that this was going to confuse my claim, given that dental would have needed knocking out too. PetsBest was able to communicate with the vet, review the itemized invoice, and understand what was for the mass removal and what was for dental and to cover accordingly. It's nice to work with a company that's capable of thinking things through and not just following some vague flowchart."

Pleasantly Surprised!
My dog was hospitalized and treated for pancreatitis. I was really shocked at the price of veterinary care but I never hesitated in following the treatment suggestions from my vet for my pet. Needless to say, my bill was close to $3000 and worth every cent because my dog survived!!! I have never had pet insurance so I really did not know what to expect. Filing the claims was so easy as I did them online. Communication with Pests Best was excellent. I was informed of the timeline to receive payment and it was adhered to. Pets Best did ask for one more document and I uploaded immediately. My claim was accepted following receipt of the former document, and my it was paid shortly thereafter. I was ecstatic about the outcome because they paid exactly what I thought they would pay. Absolutely no hassle!
If you have a pet, and you have no insurance, please consider Pets Best. It is superior insurance.

Gus' Second Chance
🐾 A Heartfelt Thank You to Willow Grace Veterinary Hospital in Middletown DE and Pinnacle Veterinary Specialists in Glen Mills, PA 🐾
This past Sunday was incredibly tough for us. Gus was in severe pain, trembling and barely walking. Having seen something similar before, we rushed him to Willow Grace. The amazing staff there suspected it was a back issue again, but thankfully, not as severe as before.
However, by Monday night, things took a turn for the worse. Gus could no longer use his back legs, was crying in pain, and we felt absolutely helpless. After a quick call Tuesday morning, the compassionate team at Willow Grace swiftly got us an appointment with a neurological specialist at Pinnacle Vet.
The staff at Pinnacle Vet were incredible. After examining Gus, they confirmed he had a herniated disc in his lower spine. Faced with a very hard decision, we were overwhelmed by their support and kindness. The MRI alone was $3,500 and surgery was estimated between $8,000 and $10,000.
Thankfully, when we adopted Gus, we also got pet insurance through Healthy Paws. Reaching out to them, we were met with some of the most understanding and supportive people. We are beyond grateful that our policy covered 80% of the expenses.
On Tuesday, Gus underwent emergency surgery and we’re relieved to share that it was a success! He was released today and is now resting at home. The next 6 weeks will be challenging, but he's already showing signs of improvement.
If there’s one thing we’ve learned from this experience, it’s this: pet insurance is absolutely worth it. It made what would have been a hard decision easier, and we couldn’t be more thankful to everyone who helped us get through this. So many friends have said they always thought about getting the pet insurance but never followed through. Do yourself the favor, get the insurance.
Thank you again to the incredible teams at Willow Grace, Pinnacle Vet, and Healthy Paws for your compassion and expertise. You’ve given our boy a second chance, and for that, we are eternally grateful.

5+ stars for Healthy Paws
We purchased Healthy Paws when we brought home our puppy 11 1/2 years ago. We have filed many claims as our pup has not been the healthiest. I have NEVER had an issue with HP. It is very easy to file the claim on line, they respond very quickly with a confirmation that they have received the documents, and even for very large claims, the money is auto deposited within a couple of days. Couldn't ask for a better company. The premium has gotten quite expensive and goes up yearly, but we use every bit of the benefit so it is worth it for us.

As a Long-time Policy Holder I Can't Recommend Fetch Anymore
We live in NYC where everything, including vet care, is expensive. So, pet insurance is essential and I have always paid my premiums on time. I've had policies with Fetch (previously known as PetPlan) for going on 20 years, and they have covered 7 different cats during that time. They have never been the cheapest policies, but Fetch had always provided good coverage. The only complaint I've had up till now is it took a long time for them to process claims. All that changed today.
To provide some background, two of my three cats are 9-year-old littermates, the female is named Skye and the male is Kato.
Kato is generally healthy except for the occasional herpes virus flare up. He's had those since he was a kitten so Fetch has always considered them a pre-existing condition and never covered any of those expenses.
Skye suffered a serious illness in 2023 and was diagnosed with small cell intestinal lymphoma. Due to complications during the vet's initial testing and work up, Skye got aspiration pneumonia. She nearly died and had to spend 10 days in the ICU, which was very expensive.
Skye recovered from the pneumonia, but unfortunately the lymphoma is terminal and all we can do is give her medication to keep her comfortable and slow the progression. Since her diagnosis in 2023 she has had to see her vet every 6-8 weeks for blood tests because the medications can have serious side effects. Skye incurs regular medical bills, though nowhere near the expenses she incurred in 2023. Both cats had their policies renewed in 2024 with moderate increases in the annual premiums.
Today I received my renewal documents for 2025, and I am absolutely floored by what Fetch has done. They designated both Skye AND Kato as high risk policies.
Skye's 2025 premium went up by about $75 to $1380 per year, but the deductible quadrupled to $1000 and my co-pay went from 10% to 40%!
Kato's 2025 premium increased by $817 to $2200 per year, his deductible doubled to $500 and my co-pay went from 10% to 30%!
I had expected Skye's policy costs might increase, but there is no justification for what Fetch has done with Kato's. I called Fetch to get an explanation and see what could be adjusted at least for Kato's policy. Their answer was, "nothing." Take it, or leave it. This is how Fetch treats customers who've had policies with them for decades. Just a big middle finger. Shame on you Fetch!
