It Only a few drawbackswas easy to apply with Nationwide…
It was easy to apply with Nationwide Pet Insurance. The only hiccup was one ear infection in two 1/2 years. Also I love to burn candles and I found out our pets can’t tolerate it. Now we no longer burn candles. Hiccup #2 , they won’t carry GRACI on any future skin issues.

Claims and Refunds
After speaking with many people about different insurances. I found that Pets best, is really the best for the amount of refunds you get back. And for the cost of the plans. I've had nothing but awesome experiences with this company.
Very expensive
Very expensive plans and they are full of exceptions/ restrictions and co-pays, Always looking for a reason or exception on not covering situation at hand. And the rates that were suppose to be locked in are not,

Excellent!
So glad that I have trusted Pets Best. I was skeptical at first based on so many negative reviews, however, I have had to use them twice for claims now, and they paid the claims perfectly exactly according to my policy and the set coverage limits, no questions asked, as expected. I believe most of the negative reviews must be based off of people who do not actually read the policy details and who don't understand what is covered and what is not. I am so thankful that I got this insurance, and thank you to Pets Best for making the process very simple and for standing behind what you say, you will cover!
Terrible had to Resuscitate my five…
Terrible had to Resuscitate my five month old puppy and all they had to say was that everyone’s gone through something like that very unsympathetic they are discriminating retaliating, causing mental distress on mine and my puppies life false people, Regular reps falsely claimed to be a claims department on multiple occasions, they argue over you and with you also they don’t have to pay out. Don’t offer a free trial if you’re not ready for what comes with it during it or after. Point blank I should have listened

Urgent Care Visit
Why: suspected my dog had a UTI Where: urgent care San Diego When: late Saturday 2/8/25 Vet verified through testing my dog had a UTI and needed antibiotics, anti-inflammatory, and pain meds. Filed my claim (simply uploaded a photo of my itemized reciept with total amount paid) on Sunday and it was approved within the same week. Reimbursement went straight to my bank account. Process was quick and easy.

Thank you, Hartville pet insurance.
Our beloved cat had an accident and fractured her back leg. She needed surgery, which was very expensive. After I paid for everything and I submitted the claim, I was ready to fight for the reimbursement, like you always have to do with insurances. Three days after, the claim was accepted, no questions or uncomfortable phone calls. I had the reimbursement included in my policy less than one week after the surgery. Thanks Hartville Insurance for making things so easy in a moment of need. 100% recommended.
