Just say NO

I am a veterinarian, and have a client whose dog was diagnosed with a malignant tumor on April 28, and whose policy renewed on May 1. ASPCA insurance covered the cost of the biopsy, but not a penny of the $20,000 the client spent in the following year. I was appalled that the ASPCA would put their name on such a deceptive policy. Each year when the plan renews, it is written as a new policy, and anything the pet is being treated for is then considered a preexisting condition. I find this tactic egregious and unethical.

recommend very highly

We have only had our new puppy for a few months and when we first got her my son-in-law told me about Embrace Insurance. We looked into other insurance companies and decided to go with Embrace. I didn't know that a puppuy had to have so many shots to keep it healty and I didn't realize how expensive they would be. Thanks to Embrace and the kind service we have received it has made everything so much better. The service and information that we receive from Embrace has realy made us feel good about this company.I would like tosay to you that this is a company worth having on your side

Guinness

I`ve had Petshealth for three years, not wanting to be caught in the situation of not being able to afford the high cost of emergency procedures, if they were to arise. The policy saved me on visits to my vet. and settled all the medical bills in a timely manner.

So far so great!

I recently switched to Embrace from VPI because I was discontent with the low reimbursement levels at VPI. I love in CT and our veterinary services cost more than the "national average" that VPI considers. Embrace's reimbursement process is so straight forward. I send my first claim in yesterday and I heard back in 1 day that my check is being sent. They even offer direct deposit.

Happily Ever After

My Bull Mastiff is one of the largest blessings in my life. She developed a tumor on her leg that needed removal in a short span of time. I was very thankful to have Hartville Pet Insurance, because this was a situation that I hadn't budgeted for. Hartville Ins. was very prompt and paid for a big portion of the surgical expense. I highly recommend this Pet Ins. product and am thankful for their expertise and speed in handling my dogs claim.

Don't leave home without it.

This is my first time getting pet insurance and so far I am happy with ASPCA. I have no other company to compare it to. I can however compare it to paying full price at the vet! Get pet insurance!!

Good thing we didn't cancel....

After paying over a thousand dollars to save one of my cats a few years ago, I decided to buy pet insurance for all my pets. Since my pets very seldom get sick, I had recently considered canceling their policies, but a couple of months ago, another one of my cats, Sabrina showed up with a bloody nose and was sneezing a lot, so I took her to my Vet; after a biopsy it was discovered Sabrina had an aggressive form of cancer. The tests and procedures were expensive, but not as expensive as they would have been had Sabrina not been insured. Sabrina is now doing better and the cancer seems to have gone away, who knows, perhaps the biopsy removed the entire affected area; I’m just glad she’s back to normal and even more glad I kept her insured. You don’t really appreciate pet insurance until you have that emergency you weren’t expecting.

Terrible!

Absolutely NOT! This company has short changed me since I took the policy. An extended waiting period before the coverage effective. Now when my one dog has a condition that is unresolved and his policy needs to be renewed-they will no longer cover treatment! Where does this leave me? I am unable to get any new policyfrom any other company to cover a pre-existing condition and the ASPCA does NOT take care of their obligations. BTW, my dog has been receiving treatments only since Oct. '09 less than a year's worth!

The best pet insurance around!

I had investigated pet insurance for years. Spoken with people who had it, talked to vets who had information from their patients etc. and had never purchased it because of all the negative feedback and disgruntled people. When we got a new pup though I decided to begin again with my research. I was surfing the web reading reviews and when I stumbled upon Embrace I was oh so impressed with what people who had this insurance had to say. I can honestly say that I have been overwhelmingly pleased with my experience in every way. Their customer service is polite and caring, their responses quick, their payment of claims quick and easy. I couldn't be more pleased and I tell people (and my vets) about Embrace every chance I get.

Recommend ASPCA insurance

Since our golden was getting up there in age (8) - we decided to be proactive and get this ASPCA insurance that was recommended by our vet. It worked out well for us, as he did have a few issues this last year and ASPCA was very good about accepting the claims and paying on them. They did not pay the full amount - but a good portion. Hopefully none is needed for this next year - but we are covered and ready just in case.
