Every dog deserves Healthy Paws
When Jack was a puppy, I knew that I never wanted the cost of medical care to impact what care he should have if he had an accident or became ill. I am so glad I switched to Healthy Paws then. Jack will be five on May 1st and already he has needed a cardiac work up and recently an MRI. No questions asked, the bill was paid promptly and exactly as promised. They make the claims process very easy. I'm a nurse who deals with health insurance companies often and I can say I wish they all could follow the amazing example Healthy Paws provides to our beloved pets.

Fantastic five star experience in an emergency.
And super customer service each and every time I have contact.I have had several small claims and one major emergency claim. Every rep I have spoken with was professional, courteous, and compassionate and best of all understanding. My beagle basset had the feared hemangiosarcoma cancer and this company came to the rescue with fast claim payment. I was so worried about the bills, but they went above and beyond in my emergency with my dog. This is the company to have your back and the follow up with them is outstanding.

Claim for Snake Bite
My dog was bitten by a rattlesnake. After returning home from both the veterinarian office and the animal hospital, I contacted Trupanion. They helped me with the two claim forms and sent an email confirmation of payment right away. Trupanion worked with the veterinarian staff and the animal hospital staff to get the correct invoices. There was absolutely no hassle or work on my part. Within a week, I received two checks for both claims.

My little "Puffy" had a horrible bout of Pancreatitis that left me feeling nervous about whatever the outcome would be. I asked the vet that Saturday morning when she was diagnosed and in a terrible state. "What I should do?" She stated "Get in the car and take her to the Emergency Center" which is exactly what I did. After presenting my credit card to whatever register needed/requested it, she was soon on the road to recovery. It definitely took time. 2 weeks and many other visits later, Puffy is back to her normal, happy self and I couldn't be more grateful. It was expensive as Puffy was on fluids and medication but I kept saying to myself "If Trupanion covers 60% then they are worth every penny." Puffy was out of pain and on to recovery. Trupanion covered closer to 90 percent of the items they said they would and now that Puffy is back to where she should be, Trupanion is more than worth every penny. You are my heros! Thank you for the bottom of my heart!

Speedy claim processing that blew your mind!
My dog had a major emergency surgery for foreign body ingestion. The total vet bill was $4700. As soon as I submitted my claim, the Embrace claim staff pretty much stayed in touch with me everyday to let me know if they need any more information. It turned out we needed to have my dog's prior medical history record from the vet (up to one year before the policy start date). This is a standard requirement by Embrace that I just did not get to it when I signed up. As soon as they got the information, my $4700 claim was processed the next day with no questions asked. It was so fast and so hassel free that it really blew my mind. I will definitely go around and tell everyone about Embrace. I am so glad I have my pet covered by Embrace. There are other cheaper policies out there. But nothing beats a quick claim processing! And I actually shopped around a lot before I signed up with Embrace. Given the amount of coverage, flexibility of choosing your plan based on your need, and now I know how quickly they process claims, I would say Embrace is the best. VPI probably is the worst ! Thank you Embrace for saving my dog's life!
