The very best pet insurance!!
This is the first pet insurance company that we ever purchased. We were concerned with the health needs of our little dog, a shih tzu named Suki. She is healthy and pure bred. She was 9 months old when we adopted her. I did the research and found that HealthyPaws was exactly what we needed. I especially liked the no lifetime cap. The annual deductible was reasonable as well as the monthy premiums. We were hoping for a very long life with our beloved Suki. We've had her for a little over a year now and this insurance saved her life. The major concern now is bees and her severe allergy to them. She has been treated several times to help her recover from being stung including an episode of anaphylactic shock. HealthyPaws has added a terrific free app which I downloaded with my iPhone. Now I take a picture of the invoice from my vet and send in the claim via the app. So fast and easy! No claim forms to deal with. Just last week Suki needed surgery for bilateral entropion. HealthyPaws paid 90% of the cost and best part is we got the check within a week!! We are so grateful that there is a top quality pet insurance available to pet lovers.

WE have 2 cats, both sick at the same time. Only one is insured, the other is too old, but having help with paying the cost of the younger was help when wee needed it. Thanks

I have a small dog that was attacked by another dog which resulted in over $2k in vet bills. The claim was denied because my dog was not neutered. He was not neutered on the advise of my veterinariun as his testicles never dropped and as he was only 2-1/2 lbs the surgery to correct would have been unecessarily traumatic. (Incidently the dog that attacked was neutered and it was over food... nothing else). My veterinarium had to write a letter to the insurance company and they finally reimbursed about $1,500 of the claim, but then put all sorts of restrictions on what I could claim. Then a year later I was hit with a 20% increase. Unfortunately as my dog is now 10 years old I am stuck with this insurance company. I have another dog that is insured with another company for about $20 a month. I really feel like cancelling but will be letting my dog down in the event that something happens.

Rate keeps going up year after year
I have no complaints about Trupanion service. I do need to complain about the fact that the rate continues to increase year after year without adding any value. When I started with Trupanion 8 years ago I was paying $25/year no deductable. Today I have a large deductable and I'm now paying almost $60/year. I just had a $10/month increase with no added value. Stop the constant monthly fee increases for existing customers!

Happy with Embrace!
I've heard a lot of good things about Embrace and it was recommended by my Newfoundland breeder who is a veterinarian. I love that Embrace does a medical review and lets you know up front what they consider to be preexisting condition(s) - there are no surprises. I'm also happy to learn about their Precertification policy. Happy with Embrace and I recommend them to everyone. I just wish they could provide illness coverage for my eight year old Newf, but he does have accident and Wellness coverage with Embrace - happy about that! I would rate them a 10 if they would insure my older Newf. Happy with recent claim for our 18 month old Newf Poppy - handled quickly!

Healthy Paws insurance is a great company. I normally never write reviews but since I am so satisfied, I decided to express my opinion. We purchased pet insurance for our dog after talking to some friends. Lucky for us we did. Our dog was outside playing with the neighbor dog one weekend. She came in limping on her leg. It ended up being a ACL tear. Health Paws covered the TTA surgery at our deductible. The claims were quick and we received the check in a week. I am so grateful for Healthy Paws Insurance. I would highly recommend this company. If I could give them a higher score than 10 I would. Again, thanks for helping our dog!!!

My dog faced major back surgery and without this insurance I would have had to put him down. I knew exactly what to expect from the simple terms of my policy and payment was very prompt when the claim was submitted. No attempt to haggle. Can't say enough about how much this helped. He is doing excellently thanks to my ability to pay (with the help of the insurance) for top notch care.
