Happy to have Charlie insured by HP
Charlie fell and tore his ligament in right back leg. After the claim was submitted by our vet, I was more than impressed with the contacts via e-mail from HP to keep us updated on the progress of the claim. HP wrote me and asked that I let them know how Charlie was doing and then asked me to give him a hug from HP! I had other pet insurance and didn't get the personal care that HP gives and besides their plans beat all others. I am telling all my friends who are pet owners to check out HP as their insurance carrier for their pets.

Speedy and Reliable
I brought five year old dog to be seen by the vet a couple of weeks ago due to a suspicious growth by her right hind leg. We went ahead and had the tumor surgically removed as advised by the vet. I filled out the online claim form for my dog and, despite reading great reviews about Healthy Paws' service, could not believe just how fast they were with the process. Two claim forms were processed by the next day with an email explaining my reimbursement (checks came in the mail very quickly). I also appreciated their well wishes for my dog which was a sweet gesture. It's comforting to know that Healthy Paws is there to help with their straightforward and honest service. I'm so happy and thankful for the peace of mind of knowing that my pet can be supported by such a reliable company.

Trupanion is great
My newly adopted 3 year old chow needed entropion surgery, and when I called to give Trupanion a heads up for the first surgery they said it would be covered less deductible. Then I called to tell them he needed a 2nd touch up surgery and they were upset that he was struggling, and said coverage for the touch up was not an issue. They really cared about how well Cody did, and are all around great.

Two Golden Retrievers, Cooper and Bailey, have been a part of our family since they were 8 weeks old in January of 2013. They are now 17 months old and are certified as Therapy Dogs. They are such wonderful companions and family members! Trupanion has been a part of our plan for taking care of Cooper and Bailey since we brought them into our lives; and we are so glad for their help. Early in life Cooper and Bailey both experienced problems with diarrhea. They were placed on special diets and medications to control it. The diahrrea problem resolved itself as Cooper and Bailey grew up; but while it was going on Trupanion was with us every step of the way to help with the medical expenses we were incurring. Later, both Cooper and Bailey were diagnosed with atopic skin condition that requires them to be on a special diet and to take expensive medication. Once again, Trupanion came to the rescue and has helped immensely with covering expenses related to purchasing their food and medication. Trupanion's response to submitted claims has always been prompt and fair. The claim resolutions are clearly explained and checks arrive soon after a claim is resolved. We couldn't be happier Trupanion is part of our dogs medical care plan.

Great Company
I have a 1 year old English Bulldog who has been through everything I could Imagine and Healthy paws has had me my reimbursement check within 1 week each and every claim usually within 3 days of filing the claim through email. I don't usually write reviews but the experiences that I had with them are remarkable. So far they have covered when She swallowed one of her bones who and had to be surgically removed ($1,500), 1 month later she tore her cruciate ligament in her knee and needed TPLO surgery ($4,000) those were the 2 big expenses they also covered small items such as when she had a urinary track infection ($200). I would recommend this company to anyone that owns a pet!

Couldn't ask for a better policy
I did quite a bit of due diligence when searching for insurance for my dog. Healthy Paws was by far and away the best policy for me. I have never a problem with the service and the reimbursement. My dog was a rescue and has had quite a few health issues, including seizures; knowing that Healthy paws will be there for me definitely puts my mind at ease. I highly recommend them.

Never had such a good experience with insurance.
As luck would have it, my pooch tore her ACL just a month after getting insurance from Healthy Paws. If you've ever had to pay for such a procedure you know how much dough that can set you back. Not only were the folks at healthy paws kind and concerned, I didn't get the shakedown when I filed the claim. And approval came quickly. If you don't have pet insurance get it and get it from Healthy Paws.

Quick and easy
Shortly after adopting my cat, he got sick and had to go to the vet (we went mmultiple times and had a week of antibiotics before he was totally ok). My vet works directly with Trupanion, so everything got approved before I even left the office and all I paid was the 10% coinsurance. My cat was still on the introductory free trial period. Only a few vet offices are set-up to do that right now, but it made everything really easy for me! Hopefully more vets will do this!
