I was skeptical but now I am believe
I have a friend who had a different pet insurance program and over heard them mention it when there pet was ill so I checked into their program and others online and Embrace seemed to be the best. I signed up. A few months later are little one got sick. Took him to the vets. I was not serious. I mentioned to the vet we had an insurance plan and he said they usually don't pay much. I was disheartened but summited the bills by fax. I was notified by email they got them and was processing. In less than a week I got an email with my refund amounts. I have to say I was happily surprised. Embrace covered everything they said they would. I don't get this good of service from my own health insurance program. I am happy we are covered by Embrace. I am going to recommend it to my family who have pets and everyone else I meet.

Best in Class Service
While petting Brewster I found a lump on his paw and neck. The vet did a smear test. The test results indicated cancer cells for the lump on his paw and inflammation on his neck. Both lumps needed to removed and biopsied. I called Healthy Paws since I never submitted a claim prior. They were very supportive, reassuring and knowledgeable about Brewster’s coverage. I submitted two claims one for the smear test on the other for the blood work (needed for surgery). I expected these claims to take a long time to process since Brewster is 7 and Healthy Paws needed to review his medical history. I was pleasantly surprised to see the claims were processed within a week and check was received shortly after. The next claim was for his surgery, they processed the claim the day I submitted it. A check was received about two days later. I also received a follow up email from Healthy Paws just to see how Brewster was feeling and wishing him well. I am so happy that I choose Healthy Paws. I could not ask for better service. The process to submit claims is very easy; claims can be emailed, uploaded or mailed. Forms can be downloaded from their website. The EOB's provided are very easy to understand. The coverage was exaclty what I understood it to be and hassel free.

Embrace Pet Insuirance IS AWESOME!
I recently got a puppy and knew from not having pet insurance in the past I wanted it this time. I explored all kinds. Embrace seemed to fit my needs the best. They do what they say they are going to do and reimburse promptly. No claim is too small or too large... AND they reimburse based on what you paid not a sliding scale! LOVE IT! Highly recommend this insurance.

Does not cover traveling with pet
I was told my little yorkie would be covered when I traveled to my vacation home in St Maarten. After three years I finally made a claim and I was told no coverage out of USA. I feel ripped off.

So relieved
So glad I have insurance with ASPCA. Carly (my silver gray, 12+ year old cat)was vomiting, wouldn't eat (this NEVER happens) and was generally lethargic -- just not herself. Because she was insured, I didn't have to give it a second thought. Off to the vet we went. I was able to tell the vet to go ahead and do the tests that would rule out anything life-threatening -- which I may not have been able to afford, it I didn't have your insurance. She's fine and the problem was not serious, but my relief was immeasurable.

Pleasant people handling the claim; claim handled efficiently. One area of disappointment - no coverage for "office visit" which was part of pet's treatment. Pet was ill, took her to vet, he examined her and charged for office visit and tests and meds. No coverage for office visit. It was NOT a wellness visit -- I think it should have been covered.
