Fair and Responsive!
I have been an Embrace customer since 2007. My girl has had 3 bouts of "severe hemorrhagic gastroenteritis" at a cost of $1,500.00 or so each of the three visits to the 24 hour emergency clinic. (Of course the serious stuff always happens after regular vet office hours!) Both of my Goldens have had dermal masses removed this year at a cost of over $500.00 each. (Both benign, YEAH!) Never, ever did Embrace give me any kind of hassle. All claims were promptly paid in accordance with the policies I purchased. I have friends that have VPI and were very disappointed. I have, and would definitely again and again and again, recommend Embrace! Rarely does a company proactively contact you to keep you in the loop. A good company answers your questions promptly when asked. A great company, like Embrace, contacts you with answers before you have to call them! Keep up the good work!

I have turned in a couple of claims, so far the claim process has been fairly smooth. While I understand the reason for pre-existing conditions being excluded in claims, I do wish that there was a policy addition that would allow for pre-existing conditions even if there would be an additional premium. Depending on what that premium might be, some pet owners might be willing to pay it.

Embrace for my CATS
I have two cats, one small and older, and one younger. Embrace has helped me get both of them to get healthier. Just today I went to the vet and she told me that the younger cat (6 years) Yetti, had finally her fracture is strong, so she now doesn't have to go back to have the stent anymore. Yetti is SO happy! Yetti is adopted from Angel Memorial and I'm so glad I did. In fact she is just as happy as I am, now that her arm and foot are perfect. My other cat that was adopted after my son-inlaw found her alone and desperate because she had been dumped for 3 weeks. She the older won (8 years) and she is a real sweety, who lies on my bed, and keeps me worm. Thanks so much for Embrace for all the help they've done for me, Yetti and Benni!

As a first time user, I received an email requesting assistance that I would have to redo EVERYTHING on my insurance papers. However, when I called to verify this information, the agent I spoke with explained that only three documents were necessary. My vet's office faxed immediately. She was very understanding and courteous. It was a pleasure to speak with her. Also, Pet's Best has been recommended to me to be more accurate, better paying, and faster with claims than other companies.

Hello, I wanted to write about my experince with Trupanion for my GSD Charlie. Charlie had a bad laceration on his paw in November that called for an emergency care. As soon as i filed the claims, trupanion kept me in touch and well informed about the procedure. Trupanion did 100% what they promissed! They did cover 90% of the expenses! Not only that, but they answered all my questions patiently, they chatted on-line - which is a real time saver, all - I mean all - employees i was in touch with had nothing but kind words to say about my pet while explaining what was going on with the claim. I can't thank these guys enough! I really can't! Troupanion sent the check immediately following their e-mail with a clear explainiation of what was covered! A huge help! I have nothing but the best words for these guys! Ardi

Worth the money!
I used to be one of those people who swore up and down that they would never buy pet insurance... that if the company wasn't making money, they wouldn't sell it. Today, I can safely say that I will never have another dog without springing for pet insurance. Overall, I am very pleased with Embrace. My only regret is that I didn't sign my dog up the day we got her! Unfortunately she has had several bouts of colitis over her first year with us that haven't been covered because they were "preexisting." Aside from that, I've been very pleased with the level of customer service and communication I've received from Embrace, despite the lack of any real online functionality. Our dog recently developed localized demodicosis which will require anywhere from 2-6 months of medication (at $177 a month!). We've been pre-approved for a refund (less our 20% deductible) and I have already calculated that it's going to more than pay for itself.

Fast, friendly, compassionate.
I was very pleased with Trupanion's service after my boxer tore a ligament in her knee. They were very responsive, friendly, helpful and supportive. Trupanion was also very quick to get our claim paid. Unfortunately, friends had warned me that their past experiences with other pet insurance companies had not been as pleasant. In fact far from and in a lot of cases they found out the hard way that the policies they had purchased didn't coverage much at all. We definitely made the right choice in Trupanion. My only small complaint is that the vet consultation fees and taxes are not included in the coverage.
