LOVE UR DOG..MAKE SURE HE IS INSURED
my dog was recently in the emergency room she wouldnot stop vomiting blood. i had never been so scared before. she wouldnot stop losing blood. thank god vets took care inmediately as soon as i got there. yes, bills are extremely expensive and accidents happens in 2 seconds. all those hours i was only focused on making sure she was receiving the best care possible. she was extremely dehydrated, had lost too much blood but thank god the vet stabilized her and she is home with me now getting better. the day after, i uploaded a picture of the invoice and medical records and in less than 2 days they had processed my claim. then, the week following she had her follow up appointment. i scanned them the receipt and in less than 30 min the claim was processed. i could not be happier. my little girl was getting better and healthy paws always taking care of claims as fast as they can. I honestly could not be happier with them, not only do they process everything fast. but they also keep with touch with you asking how is your dog doing and sending her their best wishes. if you are considering pet insurance, healthy paws is in my humble opinion your best option.

Thank goodness I have VPI insurance for my Bischon
After a very expensive surgery to remove a bladder stone on my 3 year old Bischon, I started to research pet insurance companies. I checked on VPI and liked what I read. I signed Roxie up in Jan 2014. The bladder stone problem was a pre-existing condition that would not be covered but I figured in case of an accident it would be beneficial to have insurance to fall back on. 2014 was fairly uneventful, she had 2 foot infections (due to excessive licking) and VPI paid well. The monthly cost & what I was reimbursed were a difference of $12. Already in 2015 the insurance has reimbursed me more than the monthly fees will cost me. She was diagnosed with hemmorhagic gastroenteritis - we almost lost her! After several rough days & nights, 2 hospital stays, 3 hydration treatments and numerous medications, she is well again. The vet bill was close to $1,000 and I am very glad to report that VPI paid all but about $150 ($100 was my deductable). My vets office submitted each claim and everything was paid quickly with no questions. Having the insurance makes going to the vet a lot less stressful and so much easier on the pocketbook

No coverage yet
I'm really upset with this insurance. I have a boxer who has just torn something in his leg as he limps around a lot, it's pretty sad to see him this way as I can tell he is in pain. I called to ask them if by some chance he would be covered. They told me that if it was a torn acl or ccl that I would at least have to have the policy for 12 months before he can be covered. I feel my dog is family and with medical insurance I do not have to wait for anything to be covered. I pay 50$ a month and now have to wait 12 before I can do anything to my boxer? I just don't feel it's fair. I am probably going to cancel this and may have to take a loan out to help "my child" get out of pain. So disappointed.

BEST INSURANCE HANDS DOWN
Healthy Paws is the best insurance ever. they are a hassle free organization. my goldendoodle has had two major surgerys in the last 8 months . both were thousands of dollars . the claims were submitted and the surgeon was paid the day of surgery both times. This has cost me a small fraction of what it could have been if I had not had healthy paws. The entire process was easy and they are Darling people who truly care about Animals and keeping them healthy. Never was I questioned about cost . They assumed total financial responsibility with out questions asked ! I HIGHLY suggest getting this insurance for your loved pet ..you just never know when an accident can happen ! truly the BEST!

Love this insurance - VPI
We have had VPI since 2006 and have been very satisfied with them. Our little female became ill in October of 2014. We have paid over $4000 (tests, treatments, medicines) and have receive all but maybe $1000 back, and that was explained well in the EOB. They have been very easy to work with and easy to file claims. I would recommend VPI to everyone that has a pet.

Best thing that ever happened to me and my dog
This insurance is the best. I never had pet insurance before but am sure glad I went with VPI. They are courteous, fast at responding and reasonable in price. I can't tell you how comfortable I feel with them. They are A+ in my book.

VPI is great
Just as you would provide Health insurance for you children, you should provide the same for your pets because they are family too. I purchased Veterinary Pet Insurance and made an investment in my family. Now, I no longer fear the unexpected cost associated with their care. The insurance is well worth the purchase. The company is professional, extremely efficient and understands the cost associated with medical services for your pet. I have filed many claims since joining VPI, and the amount of money refunded has been unbeliveable. Do the right thing for your family and invest in their care.

Best insurance plan I ever had!
Our 3 year old Greater Swiss Mountain Dog got hit by a car. She needed to be hospitalized. She spent 3 days in the hospital with an IV, multiple X-rays, oxygen therapy and pain management. The bill was $2500.00. We got reimbursed $2400. Yes, you do have to pay upfront for an emergency, but scheduled procedures can be pre certified, so you don't have to pay upfront. If you love you child (pet), you should seriously consider obtaining this insurance.

upset tummy
My RATCHI started voting and not eating for a day or so at time. Had lots of gas and a little bloated. He had an ultrasound, urinalysis, blood pressure medication. Aspca insurance puts my mind at ease. They contact us to check on Scooby, and when calling the office they look I into your file and try to infirm you correctly. And if the person helping you can't they find someone who can instead of just assuming. I always recommend ASPCA they are AWESOME.
