Renewed Faith in Pet Insurance!
Our Dog Oakley, a 7 month old Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, was starting to show signs of what appeared to be a some type of sinus infection. He had a yellow/greenish discharge coming from his nose and was wheezing heavily. Of course it happened over a weekend so we decided to take him into a 24hr Vet hospital and it was a good thing we did because his nose started bleeding when we arrived at the emergency clinic. After chest x-rays, a complete blood work up and several other tests they were able to confirm he had a upper respiratory infection which luckily had not yet moved into his lungs or evolved into pneumonia. Oakley was given medication and sent home with instructions to rest. Thankfully we had just insured Oakley 2 months prior when we first got him. I was reluctant having had Pet Insurance through a different carrier on a previous dog that was a terrible experience. But upon our Vet's recommendation, I did some research (including this site) and decided to try again with Pets+Us... Best decision ever, they not only approved the entire claim (less the standard deductible & CoPay) but they paid it out into my bank account within the week. Having the reassurance of being covered makes experiences like this much less stressful in making decisions. Excellent company to deal with!

First Pet Insurance you should consider
Embrace Pet Insurance is a way to put those unexpected expenses to rest. The policies are easy to understand and claims are paid promptly. My advice is to buy pet insurance when you don't need it and to ask your vet about the types of expenses you will occur with your pet.

Honest Company Highly Recommend
After getting a frenchie I knew I wanted a great insurance on her with hearing the breed can have issues. I did lots of research & even purchased a plan on her only to find out a month later they do not cover any congenital disease. She doesn't have any but whats the point of insurance if they dont cover everything. Thats when I cancelled and found Healthy Paws. I opted for 90% coverage with $100 deductible (many other plans available) I knew in case of an emergency I didnt want the cost of care to dictate the care for my baby. The plan is fair price and I am so happy I have it! My betsy had had some issues & I have had the best experience with Healthy Paws! They process my claims quick and never any hassle! The last claim was over $800 from a tumor my frenchie had to have removed & the reimbursement check was in my mailbox within a week. Im am very confident and I tell all my friends this is such a blessing! I am now considering it for all my dogs & will never get a new puppy without it!

easy
sick puppy... some kinda virus. Vet gave options: 1. xray to see if blockage ($200) 2. anti-biotics ($35) Trupanion covered both, but i went with xray as my cost was only $20 and at least I knew there was zero blockage. Ended up needing both pills and xrays and many people would have chose the lesser cost option. Trupanion gave our dog the best possible care by taking money out of the equation. refund came within 10 days.

Happy Paws: Fast and fabulous service
When I was researching pet insurance companies, I looked at a lot of them, searching the policies, and the user comments. I know I chose right. When I submitted my claim, on their easy-to-use app, I wondered how long it would take and if I'd end up chasing them down by phone. Imagine my delight to get email updates every step of the way, letting me know what Happy Paws was doing and what I needed in order to complete the claim. Imagine my amazement, after two short days,to learn they had completed my claim and sent the check, which arrived promptly. My dog was really hurt. She had great treatment from her vet, and excellent customer service from Happy Paws. I wish human health care was as easy and good.

Thanks for caring
Embrace was very prompt in both issuing a claim check and handling a cancellation for my recently deceased friend, CG. She stopped eating and being her perky self. After an expensive procedure to diagnose the issue, Embrace covered 75% of the bill which helped a lot. It turned out to be pancreatic cancer and CG went to kitty heaven a few weeks later. Embrace was very understanding and caring when I told them about CG and handled the administration quickly. In addition, the customer care team sent a very nice card and made a gift to www.irememberyou.org in CG's memory. My wife, Mary, and I want to thank the entire staff at Embrace, and especially Christy, who works for both Embrace and our Vet, and handles our paperwork. Thank you, Embrace, and CG's remaining kitty family is glad to have you there for them as well.

No regrets, so thankful for this policy!
I rescued my 4 year old female border collie 5 months ago, and she is the world to me. I always scoffed at the idea of pet insurance, but I can say that I am SO thankful for the policy I took out for my Girl. She has had several tummy issues of late, which has been extremely stressful, and until last week, we were just treating the symptoms. I am fortunate to have taken out this policy, as it gives me the flexibility to have diagnostic tests done to see if my dog has something more serious. This past week was exceptionally a bad week for my dog, and I racked up over $1200 at the veterinarian's office. Thankfully, the folks over at HealthyPaws expeditiously handled all the claims, with no push-back, and within two days I had notification that the claims were settled and that a reimbursement check was on it's way. The policy gives me the peace mind that I can provide my dog with whatever she needs medically without breaking the bank. The staff over at the claims center and customer service is very helpful, and I was shocked to see the claims handled with so much ease. It really made a big difference, as I was already stressed out that my dog wasn't doing well. I am so thankful for this policy and this company. :)
