I purchased ASPCA pet insurance in February of 2011, after I adopted my beautiful, sweet golden retriever/ pit bull mix from the humane society here in Northern Virginia. I adopted her after losing my Akita ( also a rescue with special needs. We had the insurance for almost five years before I needed to use it, and I am so glad we have it.My dog, completely tore her ACL and needed surgery to repair it. Her surgery was a complete success, and after her 12 week recovery she is doing incredibly well. ASPCA insurance covered a very huge portion of the surgery, medications and care she needed. The ASPCA agents were so lovely they handled my claim in record time, and phoned to follow up on her status and repair.. The entire experience was so rewarding, and personable. I have told all my friends and family members who own dogs ( pets) that they really do need pet insurance for their beloved furry children, and I strongly recommended ASPCA pet insurance.

My dog just went through a serious illness and pet partners is very quick to respond to the claim. But what really surprised me was when I got a get well card with a picture of breed appropriate dog on the outside. It was so wonderful it was handwritten just lovely and perked me up. My puppy, Diggin suffered heat stroke and was rushed to an emergency vet facility. After checking in and nervously waiting to hear about Diggin I was told that the bill could be as high as $5000 but they would check with Trupanion to see what charges they would pre approve. Within 30 minutes a representative from Trupanion called to say they would preapprove all but the deductible of $250. I was on the 30 day free trial for Trupanion and they still were willing to cover Diggin. Luckily Diggin recovered and thankfully needed only part of the approved amount. I received a check in the mail within a week of submitting my claim. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this company and their representatives. They are TERRIFIC!!!!

Surprised and relieved
I have been very happy with Embrace. Often you don't expect that a new puppy will need vet care, but sometimes, as in my case, a diagnosis requires extensive testing which would have been unaffordable without insurance. So, I am both happy and relieved to have found Embrace, which I did not know about before my vet suggested it. This first puppy year w/ Embrace has been refreshingly surprising. The adjustments are exactly as promised and very quickly concluded. On the basis of my first year with them, I heartily recommend them over other companies I have used. The premiums are fair and the service is excellent and the team very helpful.
