Caring and honest company

I was very skeptical about pet insurance after initially cancelling on trupanion because their claim process was horrendous and rates really shitty for what you get. I signed up with healthy paws and recently my dog had surgery for an intestinal blockage and healthy paws paid the claim in only 3 days. (Almost $4k). I was REALLY pleasantly surprised- other insurance companies find every way they can to avoid getting you your money. Healthy paws paid my claim with no questions asked. Their app is ridiculously easy to use- just take a pic of your invoice and you're DONE. Nothing to mail in. Additionally, their customer service is AMAZING and you can always get a kind helpful person on the phone- and they check up on you after an illness. I'm very satisfied.

Please Please Please Get Pet Insurance

I thought after all was said and done with Neekos TPLO surgery I would submit the invoices for all the medications etc. It turned out to be a bit more difficult than I thought it would be but not once did Trupanion make me feel silly or foolish.....even after my Vet mistakenly sent in invoices for a pre existing condition. And it turns out we are still not done with Neekos recovery yet I know Trupanion will be there to help along the way. And for those of you reading this and wondering if I am a real person I AM. And I am telling you even if your animal has a pre existing condition you never know what else could happen. Without Trupanion my 4 year old Husky would not be with me right now. Get pet insurance!

Trupanion is Fantastic

My Benji (Yorkie) has Cushings Disease. After my small deductible Trupanion has paid 90% of everything. He has regular expensive blood tests and takes a very expensive prescription twice a day. I don't know how I could afford it without them. And, they are extremely fast in responding to my claims and sending me the checks. I also love their emails. They make me feel good, they really care about our pets.
