Trupanion has been great.
We signed up both our rescue cats with Trupanion after we read the plans. One cat has allergies and the othe has had a leg operation. The are quick and straight forward. Contact with the staff has been wonderful. The price has also been great. Claims are easy to do and claim reports are easy to read and understand qualifying and non- qualifying events. Better then my own health insurance.

bad insurance company
Everything they got from my vet they would say its not covered. they messed up my dogs dates for his vet visits so they could try and say i had no insurance at the time when i did they always say it's preventable when it is not. they are all about taking money not about you or your pet.

Poor coverage... read fine prnt.
My dog is covered for illness and I keep up with rountine care, testing, and vaccinations. We got our dog one year ago from rescue shelter and he was heart worm negative. I have kept up giving him Trifexis . With yearly updates, i found out he was positve for heartworms. My vet tells me that sometimes you can get a false negative ??? Pets Best tells me that heart worm treatment is covered on routine/wellness care ONLY and will NOT cover his heart worm treatment. I am sorry, my dog contacted heart worms when I did everything right and is no longer WELL. He is recoveing and will be looking for another insurance!!!!! My vet has given me some recommendations.

This company continues to deliver on the promises made. 90% coverage of an ongoing issue and no "yearly" deductible for the same condition. Totally worth it! Prompt payment of claims.
