Awesome Insurance. Awesome People!
I have a new service dog and it is imperative that he stays healthy. He had to go to the vet for an infection in his prepuce (he had something lodged inside - it's a mystery to everyone.) He needed flushing, a culture, and antibiotics. And of course a recheck. Never having had pet insurance before I was a bit nervous about the process. But, submitting my claim could not have been easier. I scanned and submitted my form and receipts via email. Very shortly afterwards I received noticed that my claim had been received and was told when it would be processed. It was processed when promised (quicker actually) and the amount covered was deposited in my bank account within a few days. I wish my personal health insurance worked as smoothly!

EXTREMELY pleased with EVERYTHING!!
This is a review for several recent claims. We have a $1,000 deductible / $15,000 annual coverage / 90% coverage after deductible policy for ourrescue dog. For anyone who wonders if they can afford pet insurance: two comments....with Embrace, when something happens to your beloved family member you will not be worrying about cost of care.....and, the higher deductible policy is VERY affordable on a monthly basis. Yes, you will have a deductible to meet, BUT if your pet needs surgery, cancer care, etc etc the cost will FAR exceed that. For us, Gabby, who has always been healthy, went in for a check of several "bumps" on her skin. We keep a close eye on these as they can be cancer or simply a cyst. Until the vet aspirates some cells and sends to lab, you do NOT know! One of Gabby's bumps came back mast cell tumor and she had surgery the next day. This is extensive removal of great amount of surrounding tissue! But, they got all of it (margins of removed skin came back "clean") and it was graded early stage 2 cancer which has good prognosis. The size of the area removed was large and it was necessary to build a skin flap from surrounding excess skin. With that came a risk of part of the flap losing its blood supply and dying which is what happened, so she had another surgery to cut out dead skin and, very fortunately, the surgeon was able to pull skin together without making another skin flap. SO.....we had claims for 2 surgeries, lab work, office visits and several medications. Total claims have been close to $3,000 to date. Embrace has processed everything within 7-10 days of receiving from vet (they are much faster to process than vet is to fax claim!) ALL claims have been completely "covered" with NO problems!!! The deductible was met and this week Embrace deposited into our checking account EVERYTHING (less our 10% responsibility) exceeding the deductible..... so far (over $1,900)! In fact, they sent e-mails in the morning to explain how things had been covered and the money was in our account the NEXT MORNING!!! This is an outstanding company. They are always super helpful and pleasant on the phone. They deliver exactly what the policy states. And, quickly. They let you know via e-mail where the process is every step of the way. (If you have not gotten an e-mail letting you know the claim has been received, then it's the vet who hasn't submitted it and you know to follow up with vet!) Great experience!
Our ten month old golden retriever decided to eat a bone whole. The claims process was easy and timely. They even went as far as to contact our vet for us to request the necessary documentation to expedite the process. I highly recommend this service to all pet owners.

Persistence Pays Off
If your claim gets denied in general, not only pet insurance, other products from stores to online purchases,ask to speak with a supervisor or a manager. In my case our dog Sandy fell and tore her ACL. I spoke with Darcy a great supervisor and with my persistence my claim was settled,I am talking couple thousand dollars. Embrace with the help of Darcy i give them an A+ and i got 3 friends to join Embrace. Thank You so much Darcy..

100% Satisfied
I have had VPI for a few years, but recently had an experience that made me an even more satisfied customer. The reimbursement rates have always been just fine in Montana, where veterinary care is less expensive. But in July I took one of my Bernese Mountain Dogs all the way to VOSM in Maryland for a TPLO performed by a surgeon I knew was top notch (Dr. Sherman Canapp). It was not cheap -- about $4500 when it was all said and done. I was worried about how much would be reimbursed and was hoping for half -- I was amazed when VPI reimbursed almost 80% of the costs. There were no issues getting paid -- I sent in the required documents and had a check in less than a month. I cannot say enough good things about VPI. I have all five of my Bernese Mountain Dogs covered!

Lightning fast claim processing...!!
I took my cat Socrates to the vet for his regular check-up and a nail trim. He is so uncooperative that he has to be sedated for the nail trim (he's a big boy, 19 lbs and stronger than me!) He also had periodic blood work done and I turned in a claim for the Wellness side of my Embrace policy on Saturday. I was notified that the entire $142 was covered and that the claim was complete. I'm just waiting for the $142 to show up in my bank account. It doesn't get any better than that!

Healthy Paws is a must for your dog
Signing up for Healthy Paws insurance is by far one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. They have been the most amazing, reliable company. I can’t speak highly enough of them for the confidence and the peace of mind they give me. I have submitted HUGE claim after claim because my dog has just had some serious health issues from the very beginning and they are ALWAYS responsive and provide the exact service they advertise. I get 90% of all my claims after my $250 annual deductible, every single time. Banjo (my dog) has had a plethora of health issues since I brought him home. He was born with luxating patella stage 3 in both back legs, and had to have surgery only a couple months after I brought him home. Then when he was about 1 the vet thought it was a bowel obstruction and he had another surgery, but it turned out he did not have an obstruction but rather his intestines had swollen almost shut from food allergies. About a month ago (he’s not even 2 yet) he started limping again, had x-rays and turned out he had torn all the ligaments in his knee and had to have yet another surgery on his leg. Healthy Paws has been there for us through every single obstacle. He’s the happiest most loving dog, despite all the health problems he has had and I get to provide him with the health care he needs to have a full and complete life thanks to Healthy Paws.

I am glad to say that you finally have my email address correct so that you don't have to send them to my phone. Please do not send them to my phone...ONLY to my email which is heyjude12541@aol.com. Amazing insurance
We had VPI before and they were terrible. Since coverage began with Healthy Paws they have been amazing. It is incredibly easy to submit a claim, fast response time when asked a question and next thing you know you have a check in the mail. This is something any insurance company should strive for. So far very happy. Healthy Paws seems to care about your pet, something that can not be said for most other insurance companies.
