Trupanion was on top of it!
After one ortho consult it was obvious my GSD needed a total right hip replacement. Consult was on a Tuesday and surgery was scheduled for the following Monday(week of Christmas). I called Trupanion on Tues evening and they jumped right on it. Preauth and approval within 2 days. Surgery on Monday and final invoice completed and sent to Trupanion by Wednesday evening. Claim was processed and reimbursement was in my bank by the next Monday. Trupanion Staff you exceeded my expectations! You guys rock! This could have been a stressful event;major surgery, week of Christmas, large expense; but you guys made it a breeze and for that I am extremely grateful.

Highly Recommend Healthypaws
I signed up for healthypaws a few months after getting our puppy from a local rescue. At first, we paid our monthly premium and never had to use the insurance, but that all changed a few months in when our dog seemed to start getting sick with everything- from mange, a massive hot spot, to the absolute worst being ibuprofen toxicity (my dog will eat anything when I'm not looking. Luckily, Healthypaws covered ALL of the costs associated with his "unluckiness" never making me make my decision about his medical care based solely on cost. I cannot recommend Healthypaws enough to friends and family members who have a pet. Their service is prompt and reliable and I hate to think what the outcome for my dog could have been had I not had their services. THANK YOU Healhtypaws for ultimately saving my dog!

Chocolate Toxicity
My 78 lb. Ridgeback Mix ate 4 pounds of Nestles chocolate chips (meant for holiday baking). I found him some hours after the consumption having vomited 13 time on my newly cleaned carpet (of course). My total bill for the emergency vet which included an overnight stay was $1,200. I was reimbursed 560.58 which was about what I expected. I spoke with a woman on the phone who made it very simple to submit the claim.

Quick Turnaround
After faxing our claim it took less than a week for our check and that included a holiday. I think that the health insurance companies can take some lessons from Trupanion on their quick turnaround for reimbursement.

Quick response, excellent customer service
Just started our pet insurance with embrace and it has paid off already. We have a very clumsy puppy and have already exceeded our deductible. I have already recieved 2 checks from them for two different claims.

Simple Process
Very simple to submit claim. Quick response. Did not pay 80% as expected because the "reasonable and customary" prices are higher here in California.

Trupanion is TRUE TO ITS CONTACT... I give it a 10
My little boy (Pug) got extremely sick. We took him to an emergency hospital then back again, then took him to his primary dictor that sent us back to the hospital for an emergency surgery with a five day hospital stay. Totaling up in over $5,000 in medical debt. My husband just lost his job. I lost mine prior to him & just started a new job. The charge card that I used was our emergency charge card. I put in the claim to tripinion & WAS SHOCKED . They reimbursed me within 48 hours my 90% minus my deductible to the penny. Tripinion THANK YOU. There is no rating high enough to express how amazing & true to your contact you truly are...... EVERYONE PROTECT YOUR LITTLE LOVE ONE & GET TRUPINION!
