A True Lifesaver
When we rescued a mixed breed schnauzer 6 years ago, we were concerned about potential large vet bills and had our dog checked carefully for any signs of bad health. When our vet gave our new pooch a thumbs up, she still suggested a catastrophic Heath plan in case our dog got ht by a car or developed a serious illness later on. Two years ago, our dog was diagnosed with a brain tumor which with careful treatment could be controlled and medium to long term survival was possible with good results on quality of life. Our ongoing expenses over the last 2 years have exceeded $10,000 of which Embrace has covered 90%. Our dog is now receiving advanced treatments and Embrace has been a true lifesaver.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. I have had a couple of claims with Healthy Paws. Everyone I have ever spoken to has been beyond helpful and polite. They are prompt and pay claims as they say they will. On one occasion a claim was denied somImcalled and explained the situation. Within 10 minutes I had an email with an adjusted claim giving me 181.00 credit towards my dogs deductible. I lost my beloved pet last month and had very high medical bills for him. Healthy Paws paid exactly what they said they would cover and I had my checks in less than a week. I also received a sympathy card personally signed by several of their staff members. I would highly recommend them.

Trupanion paid my claims quickly and carefully. I really appreciate them and will always have pet insurance!!! I stopped getting coffee everyday at work and branch in a box of tea. With the money I saved I paid my Trupanion policy. When my dog had to have knee surgery, I was really glad I made that trade!!! They paid 90 percent after the deductible within one week and my baby was able to walk again!!!

People health insurance should be this good
My prior dog was covered by ASPCA insurance and my two current dogs are also insured. The company is incredibly user friendly -they answer the phone quickly when you call, let you submit claims by e-mail, update you with the status of the claim and pay promptly. I've always been pleasantly surprised by the amount of the insurance refund on any given claim. They even call just to check in - after your dog had an illness - to see how they're doing. I tell everyone I know that the first thing they have to do after getting a pet is buy insurance from ASPCA.

Review of exclusions
I disputed an earlier exclusion to my dog's insurance and Embrace immediately removed that exclusion because it was unfair. Based on accurate information from my vet, the exclusion was immediately taken off the list. Excellent service and shows they are not in this strictly for the money.
