What a relief
I got Healthy Paws insurance for my current cat, Ginger. My previous cat, Shadow, didn't have insurance and I wound up having to take out a loan to pay for his health care. I knew better this time around - I'd rather make known monthly payments, and get something back, than sudden unexpected large ones. Ginger was a rescue off the street and it turns out she's 'a delicate flower'. In addition to some serious issues including surgery she's being treated for severe allergies. Thanks to Healthy Paws I can afford her immunotheraphy and medications to support the injections. I've always received my reimbursement (the actual check) within a week. Its nice that Healthy Paws checks back with you to ask how your pet is doing, too.

Best dog "accessory" you can buy
I was really skeptical about pet insurance - that 1. our dog's visits to the vet would be covered (he'd have enough issues to make it worthwhile (and that they'd be the covered type of incident)) and 2. it would be easy to get money (especially when you're paying out of pocket and being reimbursed) I was pleasantly surprised that 1. not only are the premiums worth it, but that they really do cover everything that is non-preventative. And 2. it was super easy to file the claim (I printed out and brought the form to the vet and they faxed it in for me) and they keep you notified via email as they are processing it. Seriously, paying the premiums is the best "accessory" you can buy - I spend way more on chew toys that don't last a month! I also want to add, I wasn't sure if we should bring him into the vet initially - but knowing we were covered by insurance made the decision much easier, and it's nice to have that peace of mind!

What a great expeirence. The piece of mind that you give pet owners is priceless. The process was easy a bit of extra paper work in the beginning but after that easy as can be. I truly appreiciated the update emails that I received from the Embrace staff. I feel as if everyone at Embrace truly does care about my puppies and me. UTI Prone Puppy
Our lovely swissy puppy is generally very healthy, however, she has had some chronic UTI issues. After several rounds of testing, medications, and office visits this minor issue has become fairly expensive. The claims staff at Embrace is WONDERFUL and claims process was very easy. The most difficult part was working with our vet to have the proper forms filled out (which is outside of Embrace's control). Our claims were processed in a timely manner and a very detailed report of coverage was provided via email for each claim. There was no confusion or concern on my end since the information being provided was so clear and easy to read. Although we hope never to use the coverage for anything major I'm confident that if that should happen embrace would continue to be wonderful. We are so thankful for the coverage provided by embrace.

i included a section of my x-mas letter about my dog getting cancer and that trupanion was recomended by two vets. i also said that i was very lucky to get trupanion when i did and suggested it to all my dog friends. i will also post on facebook. they work well with the vets and i have very little that i need to do or fill out once the original paper work is done.

Quick and Painless Claim Processing
We have had Trupanion for our Cockapoo since she was 6 months old and we have had to file quite a few unexpected claims. More than we anticipated with new pet ownership, but always for minor illnesses. However this month we wound up in the Pet ER for ingestion of a foreign body and required x-rays and an ultrasound. Thank goodness we did not require surgery, but the cost of these services were not cheap. Trupanion was quick to process our claims, and we received our reimbursement checks within a few weeks. I couldn't be happier with the service provided by the Customer Service Staff or the claims processing. I would recommend Trupanion to any new or existing pet owner. We have saved ourselves a lot of money and have been able to provide the care I want for my dog without worrying about the cost of medical services.
