worth the wait
In December our 8 year old male Papillon Buttons became extremely ill and was diagnosed with Addisons disease. Although it took some time for our claim and vet records to be reviewed, ultimately we were satisfied completely by Trupanion. Our expenses that we paid upfront were 90% reimbursed. Since our dog's condition is treatable but not curable he will require medication for the rest of his life and we are grateful to have Trupanion and their excellent service to help with that expense.

worth the wait

So happy with Trupanion
After learning how happy many of my friends were with Trupanion I chose to sign up my 8 year old dog, Mylo. I signed her up as a precaution as we were entering the silver beard years. A year after signing up we received news we never expected to get. January 8, 2014 Mylo was diagnosed with terminal bone cancer. This aggressive disease does not have many great options and we decided the best option for Mylo is to keep her as happy and healthy in our pawspice care. The past few weeks have been some of the most difficult in our time together, but I can only imagine how much more difficult this time would be without Trupanions help. From the beginning Trulanion helped me through the entire claim process, sent regular claim updates and sent my reimbursement check ASAP!! I am so grateful I signed up when I did. Thank you Trupanion!!

My decision to purchase pet insurance for my dogs was an easy one. I never wanted to be in a position where money would be the reason I could not do any more for my dogs. I researched many pet insurance companies before choosing Trupanion. They offered the best of what I was looking for....Unlimited coverage for one huge benefit. One of my dogs has congenital hip dysplasia. I put a claim in and initially it took between 2 - 3 weeks. Once they received all the information from all the vets that had seen my dog everything went rather quickly. They accepted the initial claim and every single monthly claim for medication. My dog will be on this medication for life. I am so thankful for Trupanion for covering this very expensive medication. I hope I will not have to use Trupanion for anything else. However, it does bring peace of mind knowing my dogs are covered and money won't stand in the way of their medical treatment.

Great Service
We have hade insurance on our dog Gonzo since a puppy as he is a Doxie so we worried about his back. He is now 6 and never any issues, but then one day, bam, he could hardly walk!! We went to the Guelph Animal Hospital and were told he had a ruptured disk in his neck, needed emergency surgery. The surgery cost was up to $6500, but we knew that we had the insurance in place, so we went ahead. Gonzo is now fine, running around and playing again and the experience with Trupanion was easy, quick and very caring. We had follow up emails to advise of the claim processing and the payments were made very promptly. They followed up to see how Gonzo was and wanted to make sure he was better. I am so thankful that I purchased the insurance when I got him, as I know other people without it would have a tough decision with operation costs this high. I tell everyone I know with pets to purchase your insurance and rave at how fast and easy you make it for us in our tough times. Thanks for all you did for us and Gonzo and thanks for all you do for others and their pet families.
