Easy Claims Process
I got Embrace insurance for my three dogs just to be safe. They are pretty healthy, so I didn't really anticipate using it. Well, of course, right after I got the insurance (like 3 weeks later), one of my dogs ate chocolate that was hidden in a gift. A few months later, my other dog got in a fight with another dog and got bitten. So I ended up filing multiple claims in the first year. I was surprised at how easy the claims process was - I just filled a few boxes in on a 1-page form, took it to the vet so they could fill in a few things, and then submitted it online with scans of the vet records. It just took a few minutes for each claim. Within about 4 days of submitting each claim, I got an email that my claim was approved. About 4 days later, I got the checks. I'm very happy with Embrace, even though I do feel a little bad for having to make big claims in my first year, and I'm relieved I got this insurance.

Healthy Paws has saved two of my beloved dogs lives!!!
I have three Golden Retrievers, all insured with Healthy Paws. My two youngest Goldens both have life-threatening, on-going disease. Ivy, my 7-year old, has a disease called Granuloma Meningoencephalitis, an auto-immune disease that will eventually kill her. She is on daily steroid treatments along with chemo treatments every three weeks. This treatment is very expensive and without the support from Healthy Paws, I would be unable to afford these treatments. She will need these treatments for the rest of her life. Thanks to Healthy Paws, she is in remission and able to lead a relatively normal life. She goes for walks, swims, plays with the other dogs, trains with me and even goes to, and participates in dog shows. Hayley, my 3-year old, was diagnosed with refractive epilepsy at age 2. This means the normal drugs used to control seizures are not very effective on her. She takes two different types of seizure medications three times a day. She has had to be hospitalized twice now in order to stop her seizures. She has at least 3 to 4 seizures a week, they normally come in clusters, and can get out of control easily. Healthy Paws has paid EVERY CLAIM without ANY HASSLE at all. They have stood by, and supported us thought all of this!! Just like they state, they have been there when it REALLY COUNTS. Having one sick dog, much less two, is extremely stressful; without the financial support from Healthy Paws it would be unbearable. I thank them from the bottom on my heart every day.

Outstanding!
I have a young male Boxer who has had some health issues... my Vet faxes in the insurance claim form to Embrace and the next day or so I receive confirmation from them they received it! Additionally, their Portal allows you to see what claims have been process and what are under review... so far, none have been denied which is better than a lot of "human" ins. companies! I have talked with a number of staff personnel with questions and all of them sound very sincere and compassionate in wanting to help me with what questions and concerns I have... I also received an email follow up! Excellent company to insure my "Buddie"!

Simply the Best in Pet Insurance
Our 5 month old kitten suffered acute kidney failure as a rare reaction to a common NSAID drug given to her by our veterinarian during a common procedure. Never did we expect to have to submit a claim just 2 months after getting a policy for our young kitten. The veterinarians at the University of Florida saved Hope's life, and Healthy Paws insurance helped us to cover the cost of her care. Hope Louise is now back to her sweet, playful kitten self and we are so grateful. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Healthy Paws is true to its word, always there!
I have all three of my Golden Retrievers covered by Healthy Paws insurance. Have had Trupanion for 9 years. First claim was denied but after further explanation and clarification, claim was paid. Ever since then, we have had no issues with any of our claims. Our dog has arthritis and we have had many claims over the years. Really like that if it is a condition that is ongoing, you don't need the vets signature after the first claim. Super easy.

Bruno's Second Bout of Pancreatitis this summer
My yorkie Bruno has unfortunately had to deal with Pancreatitis twice this summer and it was quite a trying time for our family seeing him so sick. He has made a full recovery both times thankfully and we could not be more thankful to have Embrace insurance to cover his needs! The claims process is so simple and the reimbursement for both occasions was so quick that I was very impressed. I have recommended Embrace to several colleagues at work who also now have policies! Peace of mind.
I've had pet insurance for about a year with petsecure. I have the secure 4 plan. My dog just had a bilateral tplo surgery on Sept 1st...which was close to $7500.i I submitted the claim about a week after surgery. Petsecure has already processed the claim and we are getting reimbursed $5972. Our deductible was already paid so we got back the full 80%. Pet insurance has allowed me to focus on my dogs recovery instead of worrying about how to pay for it. I have not had any issues to date with the service or refusal to pay. However, they are quick to exclude pre-existing conditions. My dog did have skin issues when he was a pup, he was found malnourished & in -20 C weather. Because a skin scrap was done to test for mites and he was given a vitamin supplement to help his fur/skin, all skin conditions and related issues are excluded from his plan. Which is extremely broad and could cover a wide range of future problems. I would definitely recommend pet insurance though.

Incredible Service
I had to take my dog to an after hours vet for a life threatening illness. The vet contacted Trupanion to verify my insurance. It was approved within 10 minutes. I had paid too much when I paid my deductible and I got a refund check back within 4 days. My dog has to have monthly shots for the rest of her life and Trupanion pays these every month, reimbursing me within a few days of each claim. Human health insurance should be this responsive and easy to use!!
