So easy during a difficult time
When our almost 9 year old greyhound Thor was diagnosed with osteosarcoma Healthy Paws was there for us! Thor needed multiple biopsies to confirm the diagnosis, followed by a very expensive amputation surgery, and we are waiting for the surgery to heal before continuing on with a specialist oncology consult and chemo. If we didn't have pet insurance that covered all this we would have been making some very difficult decisions with an eye towards the financial aspects of it. This way, we could focus solely on Thor and what is best for him rather than what our pockets can handle. So glad we got him pet insurance! It's the best thing you can do for your pet. And Healthy Paws makes it simple and easy when you are dealing with so much you don't want to have to worry about paperwork- just scan the vet bills into the app on your phone and you get a check within a few weeks. Simple!

My dog is alive because of Healthy Paws
My dog is alive today because of Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. It's easy tosay the Vet saved his life after Roscoe contracted leptospirosis, but without a way to pay for the $1,800 cost of his treatment, Roscoe would not have received his lifesaving care. Instead of having to be "put down," Roscoe is alive today and a hyper Boston Terrier because Healthy Paws does not have annual or lifetime coverage limits. They took my calls, answered all of my questions and processed claims within 1-2 days after I uploaded the invoices. I recently rescued a second Boston named Ruby. Adding her to the Healthy Paws policy was the first thing I did when we got home. I hope this review helps. If you still have any questions... CALL THEM and see what I mean.

great service
Embrace pays claims fast and is ready to review and approve all valid claims without a lot of red tape. We are delighted with this coverage and told our vet so.

Huge premium increase for 1 yr. old puppy!
Purchased Trupanion pet insurance for my new puppy 1 year ago. Premium was $38/mo. Just received notice that the premium is increasing to over $50/mo!! That is a 33% increase with no claims or health issues. Very disappointed- will be cancelling.

All pet parents should have insurance.
My husband and I welcomed our miniature Australian shepherd Tony in October of 2015. Before getting him I researched that there is such a thing like pet insurance! We did not know, but from the great reviews and research from other companies, we decided to form a part of Healthy Paws. Honestly, this what the best decision we've ever made. Tony is a very curious dog and this has totally saved our butts. We know that we have the money, but if we didn't have insurance, we wouldn't get anything back. The process to submit a claim is so easy and the things covered is straight forward. The most recent was Tony's cryptorchid surgery, that was covered. A few days later he got an infection and went straight to the vet ER and I am so glad Healthy Paws is in our lives. Whenever I have the chance I recommend Healthy Paws to all my friends and family, I don't know how people can live without this, it really does put you at ease.

Embrace has been the best for my boxer boy
I have had my boxer boy for over two years now and we recently were dealt with a harsh blow, as he has been diagnosed with Lymphoma and even with chemotherapy he will hopefully be with us for one more year. I purchased Embrace when we first adopted him and he has had numerous medical issues even before the lymphoma diagnosis. Embrace has been wonderful to work with and if it wasn't for them covering all of his issues we would not have been able to keep him healthy. The recent claims submitted for his lymphoma have been processed in just one week which relieves so much stress and allows me to focus on taking care of my baby boy. Everyone at Embrace is caring and wonderful to talk too.

BEWARE
EMBRACE SHOULD BE CHANGED TO RIP OFF PET INSURANCE COMPANY. This company is not looking to reimburse you on any claims submitted, on the contrary they are looking for any and all reasons not to pay the claims at all. I've submitted several and all very denied. Claims for illness (such as upset stomach) was declined, their reasoning was because it was a pre existing condition; Claim for rash, again declined, their reasoning was because it was a pre existing condition. Further, stated that he had to be free of any sickness for a whole year. They claim that there is a waiting period, again, this is not true. Sales staff must be coached to make it sound like the real thing; back office is trained to look for reasons not to pay. (this company is out there to rip everyone); don't waste your money with this company
