Our dog is having Boxer Colitis. The bills have been climbing and without Trupanion I do not know what we would do. We will have Trupanion for every dog we have from this point forward.

Seizures
My 11 year old pom-a-poo out of the air starrted having seizure.. they got real bad so i took him to see a nueroligist. they gave him some medicine to take, but the next day his seizure sttarted up again and they would not stop. i ended taking him to the same nueroligist bu to the emergency room side of his practice. Keno ended up spending a couple of days in the emergency room.. he is now much better and no more seizure..

Checks in the mail
I love the Wellness Rewards Embrace gives me. I just received three checks in the mail for having wellness visits for three of my dogs....the fourth dog goes next month. After submitting my claim, I was reimbursed within a week.

I was unsure as to whether to get pet insurance as we had never had any huge expense with any of our dogs in the past and also I felt I would start a pet account at our bank and put money in there for emergencies .after giving my head a shake I realized that if something came up in the household that we needed money for that I would naturally go into that account so it was a no brainer .....90% coverage ....no deductible...$69.05 a month for the life of sawyer. I am very glad we did it and I have told other people about my decision as well.

One Big Let Down
Trupanion denied coverage on the cost of euthenasia administered to Rez's brother for behavioural issues after having paid into the service for three years. Rez is doing fine. His health concerns will continue to be monitored. My thoughts on Trupanion are not however doing so well. Our friend died tragically at the minimal cost of $300. The denial of our claim has left a very bad taste in my mouth. I am an animal behaviourist who has enthusiastically recommending Trupanion to my client base. I can't very well continue to do that.
