We could not say anything but the highest praise for trupanion. The professionalism ,effiecency, and accuracy of handling our claim was outstanding. This experience was much more than an insurance claim, we felt trupanion was a partner in the process of getting Dakota healthy. Their handling of the whole process was only surpassed by their heart felt concern for Dakota. I have been in the corporate world for 40 years and truly believe most organizations and human insurance companies could learn from trupanion what effiency and real customer service really looks like. Sidney's Adrenal Tumor
My prior experiences with Trupanion have been for minor issues which never seem to meet the threshold for coverage. However, we now face a very serious issue with our Lab Sidney which is life threatening and Trupanion has been wonderful. This is the reason you have Pet insurance. It is for the times when you question if you can give the life saving treatment instead of just letting go. In our case, it is just not her time and Trupanion has helped us in giving Sidney the chance she needs to live a longer live. She still has challenges ahead, but she has a future.

Best insurance out there
I shopped around for pet insurance when we got our new dog. We had a Border Collie two years ago that died from cancer, I wish we had insurance then and we did all we could for him, this time I decided to purchase dog insurance, I was very pleased to find that as a USAA insurance member that Embrace was being offered. This was a no brainer for me as USAA only offers top notch companies to their membership. After joining Embrace I could not be more pleased, our claims are quickly handled and checks are mailed out quickly, I have had no problem speaking with agents on the phone and emails are quickly answered. Pet insurance is not cheap, but I am a person who strongly believes that you get what you pay for and just like any other insurance it is peace of mind knowing that in an emergency my dog will have the best care and have an insurance company who will be with me along the way.

My cat recently got very sick and had to have emergency surgery. She also had to be in the hospital with 24 hour care for several nights. As any pet parent knows, the stress of having your pet sick is a horrible experience, and when the bills rack up the stress is intensified. Healthy Paws insurance covered all of her emergency service costs including hospitalization, medication, and diagnostic tests. Submitting the claims online was very easy, and they had fast, friendly service. I would (and have) recommended Healthy Paws to other pet parents I know. If you are wondering what insurance you can trust, this one is it!

I have been using ASPCA for my aging dog for about a year now. I did a lot of research to ensure my dog would be covered since many companies offer cover just very basic services. There are some companies that won't even cover dogs/cats past a certain age. ASPCA has reimbursed me for dental cleanings, meds and various doctors visits. The claim process is pretty simple and easy to follow. I've only had to follow up a couple times when they required additional information from the veterinarian. That held the process up for a couple weeks. I'm glad I chose ASPCA, its been a good experience!
