Trupanion WILL raise your rates as your dog ages.
You will start out with a low "Guaranteed" premium. Once your dog starts to age the rates will go up about $10/year. Even if your dog has been healthy its whole life.

Great Insurance
Embrace is very responsive with all communication. And has always explained everything to the fullest with claims and refunds. They are not only helpful and thorough but fast! We have never been waiting around for our reimbursement! We were on the fence about insurance and have been nothing but pleased with our decision since we made it! It gives us great peace of mind! We LOVE embrace and tell ALL our friends with pets that's this is the best one to get! I have heard nightmare stories from other people and other companies, but have not had a bad experience yet! We will be embrace customers for as long as we are pet owners!

Great
My 6 year old golden has arthritis and adequan injections help her maintain her activity level. She is frisky and playful again. Embrace has help with coverage for these injections. Thank you embrace. Same dog became illl with lethargy vomitting and diarrhea. Embrace provided coverage for this as well. I am very happy with this insurance plan. And would highly recvomended it. They are prompt to reply to claims and courteous

Ugh!! Money over pet
Your premiums increase like crazy. It makes more sense to put that money away each month and build a little "reserve" for them. Because you will have a hard time actually using it or getting it back (in care) from Trupanion. Above all they are an insurance company - money money money... When we got our pets and I was blinded by my love for them, I thought I would get the best for them. At the time Trupanion sounded great. Trupanion will send you "cookie cutter" emails, making you think they care, "Thank you for taking such good care of your furry friend". But it's complete BS. All they care about is your $$ (Insurance company!)... After constantly having to go through the appeal process, those emails start to sound very patronizing. They will also contradict what the vet said, and talk down to you in the emails - like you don't know your own pet. Our vet has been flabbergasted with the lack of care Trupanion provides. When it comes back to it, as an insurance company, they will do all they can to NOT support you. Sadly, after several years with them I finally get it. I will definitely NOT be using them in the future and my family is currently looking at alternatives... Hopefully the cancellation procedure isn't too bad...

Very efficient!
My 18 year old cat, Liza, was diagnosed with ulcerations in her eyes and pancreatitis. After all the testing and curing, the bill was overwhelming to me. I quickly submitted the bills that totaled about $2400 and I was pleased that ASPCA Pet Insurance was just as quick to pay on the claims. I was pleased that they have a direct deposit set up so that the money went directly into my checking account and I was able to pay the credit card company quickly. Plus, I received a call back from two ASPCA Pet Insurance staffers to make sure that Liza was okay! Thank you so much for doing what you do best!!!!

Great pet insurance company
My cat was shaking her head and scratching her ear for about two weeks. Antibiotics didn't work, so I took her to a surgeon who informed me that she needed a ventral bulla osteotomy. I scheduled the surgery for the next day, but was worried about how I would pay for it. I contacted Healthy Paws several times that day and while they could not pre-approve the surgery, they were very responsive and told me that it would likely be covered. After the surgery, I submitted the invoice and my cat's medical records, and Healthy Paws quickly processed and approved my claim. I am very happy with how quickly the claim was processed.

No complaints, they paid as agreed
Our first puppy for the family and my first puppy since I left for college. I selected Embrace to insure after comparing with 3 other companies. We insured for accident and illness and also signed up for the Wellness plan. Indie, our mini golden doodle had her first set of shots under the plan. They notified me by email that our Vet filed the claim and they paid as stated. Embrace was proactive. Thank you.

Trupanion gave Saphira outstanding care!
10 - bestFrom the day Saphira tore her cruciate ligament on her right leg (November, 2012) till now, Trupanion has been with us all the way. They provided 90% of a $4500 claim, and they also supported physiotherapy, and the ensuing complementary medicine (hydrotherapy and laser therapy) that benefitted Saphira immensely. I recall having received one comment that we had made it past a year, and Saphira still had not torn her other cruciate ligament on her left leg. This can happen often, we were told. Well, it is now almost two years, and we have been accident free. I am not saying that she won't be affected, but the statistics are definitely in her favor. And the main support was her alternative therapy. She did a 5k run for the military last summer, and a 2k run this summer. I will be continuing her therapy, because she benefits from it so much. And it is Trupanion that we owe a tremendous amount of thanks to. The agents, and all the people I have dealt with, have been absolutely top-notch. I would not have any other insurance company.

BEST COVERAGE!!
TADYR TOT ACTIVE JACK RUSSELL, WHO ENJOYS BEING A FLA. GIRL, RUN. JUMP.WATER EVEN SNOW WHEN TRAVELING. SHE TORE HER KNEE RESULTING IN SURGERY. JUST AS SHE WAS RECOVERYING FROM IT SHE HAD LARYNGEAL MASS IN THROAT WHICH REQUIREDJ YET MORE. KNOWING MOST OF THESE FEES WOULD BE COVERED ALLOWED ME TO FOCUS ALL MY ATTENTION ON TADYR AND NOT THE MOUNT. OF BILLS QUICKLY ADDING UP AS THERE WAS ALSO ER.VISITS.WHEN ADVISED COST OF SURGERY I WAS ABLE TO SAY "DO WHAT IT TAKES TO SAVE HER LIFE!" "SHE IS MY BABY" SUPPORTING ME WHEN I UNDERWENT 7 SURGERIES IN 2 YRS.IT'S NOT POSSIBLE TO PUT A PRICE ON HER. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
