MR

Not only are Embrace's rates and coverage the best in the business, but the customer service staff has always been extremely patient, courteous, and prompt with explanations and payments on claims. They don't make up reasons to deny claims.

Claim Approved

My Beagle had an condition that Embrace said was pre-existing and would not cover. I went back and forth with Embrace. With great help from my vet writing letters and explaining her notes she requested that Embrace cover her treatment. This condition was not pre-existing. The underwriters accepted the appeal and approved the coverage. If you believe you should be covered for a condition and it is not pre-existing, you should fight for it.

Very helpful

My dog has a tendency towards stomach issues and eating strange things. She needed and emergency visit to the vet for a very rough stomach illness. ASPCA pet insurance paid for everything (minus deductible). My only complaint is my vet's office had to send the paperwork several times over 2-3 weeks because ASPCA was not able to receive it for some reason. This delayed my claim but they expedited it as soon as they were able to receive the papers they needed.

Happy Trupanion Customer

I work at a vet clinic and I am a pet owner. I like Trupanion because of their one simple policy. The cost is reasonable and it covers what I expect an insurance to cover. I recommend Trupanion to my clients all the time. Recently, I had to claim for the first time for my own dog. The process was straight forward. They returned my emails promptly and I received coverage for exactly what I expected to. I went the route of having a pre-auth done for a MRI that we needed. I went in knowing I was covered and then we did a direct payment to the specialist so that I only had to pay my 10% and the tax, meaning I wasn't waiting to get reimbursed. Overall, I've been pleased with my first claim through them.

Embrace is No. 1

Our furry friend, was diagnosed with heart worms in march 2014. Two month before our business trip to germany. We started treatment in the USA and due to Embrace wonderful staff where able to continue the treatment in Europe. Now the treatment is almost done and I have to say I am so amazed how wonderful Embrace handled our very special situation. All costs where covered fast and even if we send in germany invoices it was no problem at all. All our questions where answered within a day. They even got somebody who could translated them at Embrace. I am so grateful for Embrace and wish our family health insurance would be that easy too. Thank you Embrace-Team - you all are wonderful!!!!

Thank you!

Our 7 month old puppy suffered from a kidney infection. There were no other symptoms so it was not easy to diagnose. Thanks to Healthy Paws Pet Insurance, I didn't have to worry about any testing that he needed. After 6 weeks on an antibiotic is is totally fine! Thank you Healthy Paws for the quick claim and quick reimbursement.

Never would have imagined . . .

We adopted Paisley at 7 months of age this past December. Did not want to make the commitment to insurance. What could go wrong? Paisley dined on a "Hand Warmer". Small white packet containing particles of Iron. Iron Poisoning can be life threatening. She spent three days in the hospital where she was flushed out from both ends. The end result was she never developed the poisoning and we had a $2,300 bill to deal with. Trupanion covered everything they said they would. Our out of pocket costs was somewhere around $400.
