So thankful for our Pets + Us coverage!
After two major unexpected veterinary expenses in less than six months, we were so thankful for our Pets + Us Accident & Illness coverage for our cat Dali, and are very happy with the way our claims have been handled. Within the first week of bringing Dali and his sister Kahlo home from their rescue foster home, Dali experienced a fall and fractured his femoral neck (the bone that connects leg to hip). Unfortunately, we had not yet applied for pet insurance, and had to pay these expenses (about $2000) out of pocket. Needless to say, we were quick to get our application in following this unexpected event. We purchased Accident & Illness insurance for both cats, and hoped we wouldn't need to use it anytime soon. However, within a couple months, we noticed that Dali was limping again; this time, it appeared he had an injury on the opposite side. After a visit to our vet, we were told he had fractured his other femoral neck - apparently this injury is common in larger young male cats, which Dali is. We immediately submitted our claim to Pets + Us, requesting pre-approval for Dali's surgery costs (another $2000 bill). Within a few days, I was called by a Pets + Us advocate to inform us that because of Dali's initial injury, which was listed on our policy as a pre-existing condition, our claim would be denied. Very pleased
So far, so good! We have both our dogs covered by Embrace and the service has been excellent. Our long haired chihuahua was having some skin issues and was referred to a dermatologist by her primary vet. She has had to go once a month to monitor her progress on her meds and after we met our deductible, Embrace has reimbursed most of what we have spent in a very timely manner. The whole process has been super easy and getting Embrace has definitely been one of the best decisions we could have made.

I'm so glad I have Trupanion for all of my pets! They are so quick to process claims and I can always count on them covering 90% of the bill besides the exam, that I never have to worry that I will be able to cover my pets' medical bills and never have to think twice before going for whatever option is best for my furry children! The monthly premiums are a small price to pay for peace of mind!

I'm SO thankful I have this insurance!
I purchased Healthy Paws insurance for my girl shortly after I adopted her and I'm so very glad I did. She was recently diagnosed with a torn cruciate ligament and surgery was recommended. I would never have been able to afford the treatment she needed without this coverage. My claim was processed quickly and everyone I spoke with was understanding and so very helpful with all of my MANY questions! I wish my own insurance company was as compassionate and quick as Healthy Paws is!

Trupanion Is amazing to say the least 10++++I asked around and all vets said they were the only company worth having. My pom puppy just had major surgery they approved my claim on july 4th, always there to answer questions, so nice, helpful. They are truley a breath of fresh air.

Worst Company Ever
Trupanion = Tru Scam Artists! $40 on a $490 claim! You should be ashamed of yourself! Then they have some disrespectful person from their center call who wont even let me say a word...just wants to argue with me! Again, I will happily be putting on all websites how you do business as well as have filed a complaint against you with the BBB as you should have a D Rating! I am sure there are better companies out there who don't try to scam you once you finally have a claim.
