Fred's experience
This was my Fred's 2nd use of our Healthy Paws Pet Ins. So very glad that we have it. She first had a terrible infection that was very rare. We took her to the U of MN Vet College. The 2nd time she need surgery to fix the issue that was causing the infection. Healthy Paws handled our claim in a very timely manner. They also checked on how she is recovering from her surgery. I would recommend Healthy Paws and in fact I have!

Good so far!
I've only been a customer for about a month, but I've been impressed with their customer service. They've answered several questions for me very promptly. I've spoken with them over the phone and through e-mail and they are very courteous. Our orthopedic waivers were filed immediately, and I submitted two wellness claims that were paid out quickly though their optional wellness program. I now have direct deposit set up so that I don't have to wait on a check. We wanted pet insurance for emergencies, not for routine care or minor accidents/illnesses. We have healthy Corgis but the breed is prone to cancer, degenerative myleopathy, and back and knee problems which require surgery ($3-5k). As such, we chose to go with a $1,000 deductible and 90% payout for up to $10,000. For our dogs, this is about $17/dog per month. If you're a member of USAA, they offer a discount through the USAA website. Hopefully we will never need it, but it will be there if we do and makes me feel more secure knowing that money won't be the deciding factor in our pets healthcare.

Trupanion was there when we needed it. In the past when our pets had become ill, the vet bills would mount quickly. After a couple of trips to the vet cost us a few thousand dollars, my wife and I invested in a Trupanion policy. While we hoped we would never have to file a claim, we wanted to know that in the event that an unexpected emergency occurred, we would have financial support for the vet costs. Unfortunately one of our cats was stricken with acute leukemia. After two weeks of tests and blood transfusions, the only course of treatment left was to put our beloved Cleo to sleep. The loss of one of our pets was very difficult, but thankfully we had Trupanion and the vet bills did not add to the grief.

I am glad I was referd to Embrace Pet Ins.
I have been very please with the quick and detailed explanations of my policy.The claims I have put in have been addressed in a timely fashion.With all the Pet Ins.I reviewed I wasn't satisfied, until my brother and sister in-law recommend I check out Embrace. After reading and also taking to a repesenitive I was sure this was the pet insurance for my cat and dog. I give Embrace a excellent recommendation.

We had VPI a number of years ago and they don;t even come close. I had to constantly follow up with them about my claims and got nothing but the run around from them. Embrace is the best!

The Best By Far - Healthy Paws
We have had our two dogs insured with Healthy Paws for about 4 years. It was the best decision ever! Our Border Terrier had torn ACL surgery and Healthy Paws paid our 80%...and they called us every few days to see how he was doing....Who else does that. We feel free to give our pets the best care possible, as we know it won't break the bank. The monthly premiums are reasonable and just a regular part of our budget.

Great pet insurance
claims are paid fast. it covers most thingsonly complaint would be the fast rising premium rates. They have increased over 100% in the last 8 years. I don't believe it has to do entirely with rising vet costs as they have definitely not increased that much.
