Grateful to have the insurance
When we rescued our dog we soon found out she was very active and would get into everything. We bought the insurance in the event something happened it might cover some of the vet bills. There we were a little more than a year later and rushing to the vet and a $512 bill. After the deductable and items that were not covered we were reimbursed for $315. The items not covered were not related to the urgent care visit, rather items we had the vet do while we were there. The claim was easy, and we received our check in a short amount of time (less than two weeks - not sure of the actual time as we were on vacation when it arrived). Our girl is fine and as active as ever.

Best decision we ever made!!
Our dog Grace started eating grass and vomiting and then the bloody runs started. We took her to her vet and after xrays, blood tests, and various tests the vet decided she may need surgery. They could not take care of this at her vet so we were sent to an emergency hospital. She was examined and more xrays, sonagrams and blood. This doctor decided to be a bit more cautious. They decided to wait to see if she improved with medication. She was in the hospital for 2 days. She responded to meds. Thank goodness. When we picked her up we reminded the vet that we had medical insurance. They took our claim form and sent it off to Healthy Paws. Her first vet did the same. Healthy Paws processed this claim so quickly and efficiently. We recieved emails checking on Grace's progress. We are happy to say she is well and we are extremely happy with Healthy Paws. This was the best decision we have ever made in regard to our pet. We don't know what we would have decided if we did not have medical insurance for Grace. I would recommend Healthy Paws to anyone shopping for pet medical. Look no more. Healthy Paws should be your choice.

Every pet owner should have ASPCA!!
I have filed two claims with ASPCA and they were handled professionally and fairly. I contacted ASPCA and inquired about their support for vets and they informed me they had literature and support people. I then contacted my vet and their office is looking forward to the support available from ASPCA I then contacted ASPCA and informed them of my vets interest and they are taking it from there.

Amazing and Reliable! So Thankful!
I have always wanted a French Bulldog named Ned. This past Holiday season, my dream came true (along with a lot of vet visits!)I knew that I wanted to insure my new pup in order to keep him healthy and (hopefully) keep the vet bills down as much as possible. I did a lot of research and came across one of the highest ranking pet insurance companies out there. Healthy Paws. Since this was my first pet insurance purchase, I wasn't sure what teaming up with healthy paws would be like. I felt as if I was really taking a chance, especially relying on the articles I've read and the reviews other people have put out there. But I have to say, since the moment I started with healthy paws, I have been nothing but amazed at how they have handled every claim I have submitted. My little pup has suffered from severe allergies (that he is currently medicated for) and was recently hospitalized for 4 days with aspiration pneumonia. His shallow breath and lethargy was worrisome enough without having to stress about the thousands of dollars in vet bills. Luckily, thanks to Healthy Paws, I didn't need to worry. They have truly stuck to their word and have been Ned and I's saving grace. If you are in the market for pet insurance, I truly believe this is the best one out there. You'll thank yourself later!

Claims are processed so quickly and with no arguement. It makes the stressful process of having a sick pet a little easier.

Wellness coverage is a major blessing.
Finally, an insurance company that helps cover expenses for healthy cats. I signed up for Embrace because one of my cats is ten years old and age might bring on problems. But they also just reimbursed me the total cost of his six-month supply of flea/earmite/heartworm preventive solution. This is such a help because I still have five uninsured cats to provide for. Besides the benefits I want to say that this company stays in touch, is super efficient, thorough, and helpful.

Expensive but there when we needed it.
Our three year old English Cocker Spaniel stopped eating a few months ago. After several days eating next to nothing, we took him to the vet who diagnosed pancreatitis -- a potentially fatal condition. After the initial examination, Trupanion paid 90% of the remaining costs for the treatment and medicines he needed. Simon got better but has to eat special food for the rest of his life. Trupanion has continued to pay 45% of the cost of this food.
