Friendly and fast service
Response quick and accurate. Nice friendly emails mentioning how I cared for my dog. Kind of silly as obviously scripted but sweet nonetheless. A nice reminder that my insurance would be there even in a very serious or expensive situation!

Pets Worst
Finally after 6 weeks, having to fax medical records in several times because they claimed they never received them, they paid outstanding claims from the beginning of September... I'm not sure if having them investigated by the Department of Insurance helped expedite the reimbursement;however I am happy they have been paid.... Anyone considering them should run... run.. run... far away... In the last year and a half (since I signed up) they have gone from #1 to #6.. That speaks volumes for me... there are many other good pet carriers out there... do not choose Pets Best.. If there was a 0 I'd give it to them...

Healthy Paws is Great!!!!!
After my Toy Fox Terrier broke his radius and ulna, I decided to get pet insurance. I looked at a half dozen policies and chose Healthy Paws because they seemed to have the best coverage for the lowest premium. Sadly, a few months later, Ace started limping. He was diagnosed with luxated patellas in both knees. Surgery was required because he was in pain. Healthy Paws answered all my questions, helped me file the claim, and processed the claim very quickly. I wish my own insurance would process claims this efficiently. Thank you Healthy Paws. I will be recommending your insurance to all the dog groups I'm involved in.

Smartest decision ever about my dog
Healthy paws is the best pet insurance one can have. It's never too late to get it and I'm assuring you, you will never regret it. They have always been promptly on sending our checks; we have never had a problem. It's very comforting knowing we can rely on them. I have a Basset Hound and because his long ears and his lose skin he's prone to infections, Healthy Paws has always been for him. They even send you emails checking on our pet's health, it makes us feel we are not just a file but real people who love and protect their pet. Thank you so much to all the staff at Healthy Paws.

An appeal should not have been necessary
My one experience submitting a claim leads me to believe that their policy is to reject all claims at first submission. This was unnecessary stress since the claim was on right eye and my appeal required a letter from the vet to point out that a pre-existing issue of other eye was clearly unrelated. However all communication with this company has been totally friendly and professional. I just believe that my case , that I had to appeal, should not have been rejected on first go as all evidence was clear on the vet file that the one eye issue was unrelated to the other eye issue.

Healthy Paws exceeded my expectations
My two dogs recently joined the Healthy Paws family and from the start I knew this was going to be a good fit. I researched the top 10 pet insurance companies before making my decision and Healthy Paws ranked in the top spot plus I really liked their mission to help homeless animals get adopted. When I had to file my first claim I was impressed at their response time and efficiency in processing the claim. They were also genuinely concerned about my pet. Penny is my first puppy, and as a brand new pet parent I was very confused about which insurance to choose. I heard about Healthy Paws by word of mouth and after intense investigating, I ended up picking them for my little one's coverage. She recently had to undergo emergency gastrointestinal surgery (dogs really do eat everything...), and THANK GOODNESS for Healthy Paws. They were so caring and responsive, and the claims reimbursement process was so simple I had to pinch myself to make sure it was REALLY that smooth. I submitted everything online - the turnaround was quick, and I was reimbursed for every cent that I had expected and hoped for - no "oh, if you read the extremely small and almost illegible fine print we don't cover that". It was an easy and straightforward calculation and it all made complete sense. Penny is so special to me, and Healthy Paws gives me the ability to never have to make a decision on her health based on finances alone. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

If only human insurance was this good!!!
Healthy paws made the claim process seamless. I simply took a picture of the receipt with my iphone and followed the instructions through the app. Within 5 days I had my reimbursement and could not be happier. If you have a new puppy or seasoned healthy pooch, you would be crazy not to get this. It would be terrible to have to make a life call when all it would take is 34.57 a month!
