I'm grateful for the help
My buddy Ren, is a 3 1/2 year old tan tabby rescue. He's been my best buddy for the past 2 years. Three days before Christmas the urine balls in the hatbox shrank to 1/2 normal size and then stopped. Poor guy was in discomfort. I took him to the vet, and we began a repeating ritual ofIIV fluids/meds, Catheterizations and trips between our vet and the Emergency Vet hospital for overnight ICU care. By Christmas it was cleat that Ren would have to have a perineal urethrostomy or be euthanized. I lost my last cat to urinary problems when she was only 10, and I couldn't bring myself to do it again. I didn't remember that I had pet health insurance until after the surgery was done and Ren was back at home. Ben's bills were very expensive. I was glad that the insurance paid for about 2/3 of the bills.

Healthy Paws is best company for pet insurance!
We have an English Bulldog that has only had minor issue until we noticed a growth on his ear recently. We monitored for 3-4 weeks with no change and growth actually grew bigger over time. We took our dog to vet and was determined that we needed to remove growth and biopsy tissue. Luckily tissue was malignant and ear is healing great!

I have comlete faith in Embrace.
Beau wasn't even two years old when his world was turned upside down. After multiple trips to his regular vet, then on to see a specialist and a 5 day stay in the hospital, Embrace has been there all the way. At first I thought he had Lyme disease due to his limping and painful joints. After seeing his regular vet, Beau tested negative for Lyme, but was running a temperature of 104. Blood work and urine testing was completely normal, but I knew something was terribly wrong. Soon he wasn't eating, wouldn't stand or walk, whimpered every time I picked him, losing weight fast. More trips to the vet, then on to a specialist and then a hospitalization. Embrace even rushed previous claims through their system and deposited my refund directly into my checking account so I had money to pay the hospital. Beau was diagnosed with immune mediated erosive polyarthropathy, something he will have the rest of his life. It is a chronic disease and what set his immune system off isn't known. Embrace has been a life saver and I know they will be there to help Beau deal with his disease. My policy even pays for Beau's acupuncture for pain control and special diet. I don't know what I would have done without Embrace. They have paid out thousands of dollars to help me help Beau in these past 9 months. Everyone at Embrace is so helpful and polite, and I am thankful I purchased this pet insurance along with the wellness package. I have got back more than what I have paid for this insurance.

I am SO disappointed! I would never get Trupanion
I had VPI for 14 years and they cover SO much! 90%with $250 deducible. Trupanion doesn't cover wellness visits and we have a new puppy which costs WAY more that $250! WIth shots/neutering/checkups and MORE ADD UP! VPI covers ALL OF THAT!!! For $20 more per month VPI/NATIONWIDE covers 90% of everything--wellness or sickness. I am personally SO upset I chose this Pet Insurance for my puppy! I thought since we are from Seattle and it's a local company I would support it! BIGGEST MISTAKE!!!! My VET has a TRUPANION sign at their front desk so I signed up! Biggest mistake! They will hopefully be warning clients-- unless you want to pay $50 just in case your animal gets really sick, or $60 for wellness PLUS sickness. You can make a better choice elsewhere!

Great Investment
I am so glad I chose to go with Embrace for my Shiba Inu. I had never used pet insurance before and when I had a Chow she had several back-to-back emergency surgeries and cancer. Needless to say, I paid out a lot of money in vet bills (which I do not in any way regret) but now should my Shiba ever have any major issues I know that Embrace is there to help me with those expenses. He just recently experienced an ear infection and a month later tore his dewclaw which needed to be removed - I turned the claims in, which was my first time filing, and Embrace responded immediately and issued a payment to me very quickly. I gladly tell people about Embrace!

Very happy with Trupanion
Wasn't sure if I wanted to get pet insurance and I am glad I did 4 years ago. My baby got attacked and he needed surgery. It costed me a lot but Trupanion was quick and reliable. As soon as the claim was sent, i got my cheque in 10 days.Thank you Trupanion!
