Great service, incredible fast claims!
The coverage provided by many pet insurance companies is very similarly priced for the same coverages, so as a pet owner the most important things are that the company:1) Has great customer service 2) Processes claims quickly 3) Covers what they say they'll cover in their policy, without any hassle Healthy Paws has processes all of our claims in less than 2 days from the date of submission, and has always covered our claims as stated in the policy documents. Their customer service is great: when we messed up a claim submission, there was no problem, and we resubmitted and had the problem sorted out within a few hours. We received our claim checks before our dog even had her sutures removed!

No complaints with Embrace
My little chihuahua suffered from a bad bout of gastroenteritis. With Embrace, I knew we could run full diagnostics (x-rays, blood panel) to rule out more serious conditions like gastrointestinal foreign body or obstruction. It helps knowing you don't have to be worried about the cost of veterinary care when your pet is "embraced". They have to match Trupanion though, wherein they have an online system that pre-approves a claim in minutes, right at the vet's office. Excellent Service!
I purchased a Healthy Paws Pet Insurance policy for my dog, Clover, not long after adopting her at approximately 8 months old (about 18 months ago). I recently submitted my first claim for a minor surgery that she had to have on her "happy" tail. The process was easy and efficient and the reimbursement check was in the mail to me 2 days after I submitted the claim. I even received a few follow up emails from Healthy Paws to see how she was doing. This is definitely a worthwhile investment and Healthy Paws is an excellent company! Thank you so much!

Quick Payouts
I have had pet insurance before and always cancelled the 2nd year. I did not feel I received my monies worth. Claim submissions were cumbersome and slow. My vet forwards the claim, I receive and e-mail and a short time later a check. Easy. Am so far pleased. Will be coming up on a year soon, and am hoping the premiums will not go out of sight. So far so good and highly recommend.

AMAZING! COULD NOT ASK FOR MORE
My 4 yo APBT had a kidney failure and had an emergency surgery that totalled almost 6000. Our claim with Healthy Paws was processed within a couple of HOURS. And they reimbursed us the 80% of the cost! If it wasn't for them, my pup would have been dead, as I wouldn't be able to afford all the diagnostics, medications and hospitalizations. I am endlessly grateful fir such an amazing Customer Service and protecting the one I love. I'm enrolling my husky pup this month and would jot even consider any other insurance! Best Pet Insurance experience we have ever had
This review is way overdue. Last spring we took our cat for a tooth cleaning during which our vet removed multiple teeth. When we went to pick our cat up we were informed he had somehow "hurt" one of his eyes. The next few weeks consisted of visits to a special pet eye doctor and multiple medications daily in an attempt to save the eye. Unfortunately, it had to be removed by a great surgeon at a great pet hospital but at a very great expense. Glad to report our little guy recovered very quickly as though nothing was amiss. Also Healthy Paws reimbursed us - quickly, without any hassles or denial games, for all the bills we had accrued. And that is coming from experience - before we switched to Healthy Paws insurance all we got from our previous coverage was the denial game. Healthy Paws pet insurance is the best.

Great experience!
My lab was bit by a stray dog while we were walking down my street. I took him to the vet and he needed stitches and and medication. A week later we returned to the vet because he split open the stitches. VIP sent us a check for both procedures reimbursing us at nearly 100%.

The process of allowing the animal clinic to direct bill Trupanion instead of paying out of pocket and waiting for reimbursement by mail is a definite step forward. Trupanion was very timely to respond with an estimate of coverage and once submitted, the clinic received authorization and payment quickly. This is a great insurer and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!
