Very easy and helpful
It has been a pleasure to work with healthypaws. Unfortunately, my dog needed bladder surgery and healthypaws was quick in filing claims and processing payment. Most importantly - they checked in and showed they care about my dogs well being after the surgery!

An Essential Part of Pet Guardianship
Embrace has been a lifesaver for me in dealing with my rescue dog's non-healing corneal ulcer. While the claim was initially denied, their decision to accept the claim appeal based on my vet's analysis was very fair and since then they have paid every line item from every invoice, responded quickly and compassionately to all my questions and pre-certified Boca's surgery. I was even able to make arrangements for the insurance to pay the vet directly. My first claim payment was direct-deposited into my bank account nine days after submitting the invoice (all the rest of the pre-surgery charges went toward my deductible). I really don't know what I would have done without the insurance and will always consider it an essential part of pet guardianship. You just never know what can happen - I considered Boca my "low-risk" dog and so put her on a high-deductible plan, and ended up having a multi-thousand dollar claim within the first year. I'm so thankful that I was able to make treatment decisions for her without feeling constrained by finances.

Covered significant portion of unexpected medical
My Declan seems to get into everything and without ASPCA I would be in debt caring for him. He's been treated most recently for a tumor, which ASPCA covered roughly $500 of $650ish. Prior to that it was a stomach ailment that persisted through a few vet visits and the coverage helped make the cost of care much easier.

Carli, our large DobermannXBeagle girl, recently developed an infection which settled in her rear leg joint. She was unable to put any pressure on it while walking etc. Vet treated her with antibiotics and Medicam and three weeks later, she is now responding much better. Trupanion has always been there for us as when she was two, both legs needed ACL surgery and Trupanion helped us with 90% ofa very expensive bill to which we are still very grateful! Most recently, Trupanion resolved Carli's current problem very quickly and efficiently. Thank you Trupanion!

I love this company. Super customer service and fast reimbursement. I fax a claim and within hours they email me that it's being processed and then another email saying completed,all in the same day. I love the fact they cover acupuncture,laser and rehab. My newf has lumbar sacral instability which causes him nerve pain and hind limb weakness. These modalities really improve the quality of his life. There was a period of time where he went weekly for a couple of months. Healthy Paws never gave me the run around or delayed payment.He also has been to the ophthalmologist for an eyelid tumor (benign). They used a laser to remove it. He also has developed dry eyes and will need medication for the rest of his life. Again all this covered by Healthy Paws. They don't pay for the office visit,but that's OK. I chose a $100 deductible and 90% reimbursement. My other newf is also covered by Healthy Paws. Fortunately she is quite healthy,but I have piece of mind knowing that whatever comes up I won't have to make the choice of to treat or not because of the cost. I can't say enough good things about this company. I previously had VPI and what a difference. It was like pulling teeth to get reimbursed and it took weeks.

my little girl she is 10 years old had some eye problems after the doctors visitation -they did some exam,tests and give us medication for home, i send the claim to Embrace but because of my deduction on the ins. they refund only 20% of the amount of $237.00 that was only $ 42.00.I was not very happy because they say that they refund 80% but after the second visitation to the vet after giving us a medication again and found a small pus under her skin and cleared the bill was $ 100.77 i send the claim immediately and this time i received the %80 from the bill which was $77.00.Thank you Embrace insurance for helping us to take care of our baby's.

dog ate raisins emergency
rushed doggie to vet ER after i realized she found a small box of raisins which could cause kidney failure and death to a dog.claim took a few days longer than usual. for 2 yrs it takes less than 1 week to get reimbursed. this time it took more time.at least they sent me check less deductible and ER emergency fee
