Amazing Service
As a first time pet owner, my biggest fear was vet bills and what I would do when faced with a massive bill vs the health of my best friend (I now know the true meaning of the saying dogs are a man's best friend!). Having Pet Insurance has helped remove those fears and I know any claim submitted will be processed within a week. Trupanion has been nothing but excellent to deal with!

BEST OF THE BEST, PAWS DOWN
THIS IS THE BEST DECISION WE MADE AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE WHO LOVES THEIR PET THROUGH GOOD AND BAD. WITHIN A YEAR OF HAVING THE CATS AND INSURANCE, OUR LITTLE GUY CAUGHT A NEAR DEATH FEVER. THE DECISION WAS EASY TO TAKE HIM INTO THE 24 HOUR EMERGENCY PET HOSPITAL. AFTER A WEEK+ OF BEING HOSPITALIZED, THE VET WAS ABLE TO DROP THE TEMP AND BRING HIM BACK TO HIS NORMAL SELF. WITH OVER $4K IN BILLS, HEALTHY PAWS COVERED 90% WITH THE $100 DEDUCTIBLE. THEY EVEN PAID PAST VISITS THAT WERE MINOR ENOUGH WE WEREN'T EVEN CONSIDERING SUBMITTING. PROCESSING WAS QUICK AND WE RECEIVED CHECKS IN LESS THAN 2 WEEKS OF SUBMITTING! QUITE POSSIBLY BETTER HEALTHCARE THAN WE HAVE!! WE'D HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE AS THIS ALLOWED US TO BRING OUR BABY BACK AND KEEP MY FIANCE HAPPY WITHOUT BREAKING THE BANK. THANK YOU SO MUCH HEALTHY PAWS!!

The best pet insurance experience EVER
This is the second 10/10 review I have given - but the first was within the first year I was enrolled with Healthy Paws. I did a lot of research before signing up for pet insurance 3 years ago when I got my puppy. I made the best decision by enrolling with Healthy Paws. This company is so fast and efficient, and to top it off - incredibly caring. They have been reliable and quick to provide support for my dog multiple times. Most recently my Cavalier King Charles, Elizabeth, had a bout of pancreatitis. It happened on a Sunday and she was throwing up blood so I took her to a 24-hour emergency care facility. They immediately treated her but the bill was somewhere around $800 and Healthy Paws processed the claim the day I submitted it! I received the check a couple days later. The claim process is super easy too. Plus they followed up with a caring email a week later to check in and see how she was recovering. Elizabeth has also had emergency services for a cat eye scratch (more like a slice) to her eye ball and knee surgeries when she was young. She's also been covered for ear infections, skin allergies, etc. I always recommend this company to all my friends who are considering pet insurance and let them know it is a must for a new puppy (usually puppy immune systems are weaker when young, or at least that was the case for Elizabeth). Do not even hesitate enrolling with this company if you are on the fence - it is such a relief every month to know I am covered if something happens to my most precious family member :)

Set the bar for other insurerers
Our Sammie of 10 years died of an illness that lasted 18 months. His medical bills and prescription drug bills added up to $8000.00. We were blind sided by his diagnosis. We were unprepared for the cost involved in maintaining his quality of life, we had no pet insurance. After our doggie past we brought a new Sammie pup into our home and the first thing we did was enroll him in Healthy Paws pet insurance. We chose Healthy Paws after doing much research and comparing other insurance plans. We found Healthy Paws to be the most comprehensive plan for our pup, with the least exclusions of any other plan. 3 Months after enrollment, our 5 month old puppy got into something nasty and spent five days in a hospital being treated for liver failure due to toxicity. it was very comforting knowing Healthy Paws had our back. We were able to put all our energy in getting our puppy well, rather than spending time worrying how we were going to pay his medical bills. Claims were reimbursed immediately with no hassles. Can't say enough about Healthy Paws.

I just signed up with PetsBest in October 2014 and have already used it twice. I am very pleased with the service. Affordable plans, great coverage, easy claim filing, very quick to respond to claims. I couldn't be happier with them. Highly recommend!!

My claim was handled quickly, with concern and compassion towards me and my dog. This was the second claim I have submitted to Trupanion. I have two dogs, sisters, and the claims was for my other dog. It too was handled wonderfully. I had another insurer for my previous dog, that wasn't any cheaper, and the paid less. I am very happy with this company and would recommend them to anyone

Vomiting/Diarehha - 6 Year Old Dog
The only complaint I have about Trupanion is their fees. I spend $80.00 a month which I find very high and not to mention when I first signed up for insurance they assured no increase(s). To date (in the last 5 years) they have increased their premiums twice.
