Awesome insurance!
We're very satisfied with VPI. I've recommended you to several of our friends with pets. The claims are always processed timely and our reimbursements have been awesome. We can't say enough good things about you! We had often thought about pet insurance with other pets but never did anything about it. It's very well worth it!! We have submitted 3 claims and gotten reimbursed 3/4 of each one. It doesn't get any better than that. We will probably go to the medical insurance when Ladybug is older.

Our Yorkie had his fifth surgery in five years, this one for bladder stones (23). Trupanion pre authorized the surgery and paid promptly. They kept me informed the entire time. They are awesome!

SO EASY TO WORK WITH
I WAS BLOWN AWAY BY HOW FAST AND EASY THE WHOLE CLAIM PROCESS WAS. THEY PAID EXACTLY WHAT THEY HAD PROMISED IN THE CONTRACT. NO LENGTHY EXPLANATIONS OR EXTRA BACK UP. I JUST NEEDED THE VET'S INVOICES. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMEND HEALTHY PAWS PET INSURANCE

Our little 4 month old mix began vomiting one afternoon, stopped eating, and became very lethargic. We were so worried. We had to make an emergency vet call, he had to stay at the animal hospital for days, they had to do a lot of testing to find out what was wrong, and when they finally found the obstruction he needed surgery. Trupanion was amazing and supportive throughout - our claim was approved within days and their excellent service gave us the comfort to do the best we could for our little guy. He is home now and recovering well... We are so happy with Trupanion's service and recommend it to all friends and family.

I'm Glad that I Chose Healthy Paws Coverage
Although this review is based on a single claim experience (so far) for my 11 month old Chessie, it was a claim for almost $5,000 for emergency treatment and surgery made necessary when the dog ate a pice of towel which created an intestional blockage. The claim review was completed within a day of document submission and totaled about 75% of all charges, which I believed to be quite fair. In sum, a terrific experience with Healthy Paws. By comparison, I used VPI for another dog last year for a signficant series of high dollar claims and found the company to be horrible for pet owners. Choose Healthy paws, DO NOT use VPI.

Great process and reimbursement
I got Scamp insured just after adopting her (foster failure!) at 12 weeks old. A growth defect was causing her some serious issues around a year old. I went to see a surgeon who suggested a $4000 oestotemy to correct the twisted bone growth and prevent further issues and arthritis. I was able to have the surgery pre-certified to be gaurenteed it would be covered, the surgery and the follow up exams were reimbursed at 80% after the deductable. Without it surgery would have been a much harder option. I believe the therapy swimming I just purchased should be reimbursed on the plan. They are an easy company to work with!

Amazing Pet Insurance
My fiance and I wanted to get insurance for our dog and after much research, decided on Healthy Paws. Hands down, this was the best decision we made. Our dog had surgery on a Friday, after uploading the vet invoice online, we received an email that Monday saying our claim was processed and a reimbursement check was being mailed out. By Friday, we had the check, merely a week after surgery. A few days later we got an email asking how Bruno (our pup) was doing and wishing him well. To me, this goes above and beyond customer service. Anyone thinking of pet insurance, choose healthy paws and you won't be sorry!
