Denial of claims on Rusty's ear allergy.
Rusty has an ear allergy. He has reached the limit on ear surgery.Dr. Moss thought that that the insurance would pay for the costly pills($200 for 100 pills. He has received 400 pills so far at a total cost of $400 plus exams.)I can't afford the cost of another surgery. Can you reconsider the claim?Or is there an upgrade in insurance that would help? a very very good insurance
Trupanion has taken care of our 10month old border collie girl and reimbursed our expenses very well. They do take a long time to send out the reimbursement check from the time they e mail you that it's being sent out; but they cover well. Their customer service is great on the telephone too.

Great coverage, premium hikes are absurd though
We have had pet insurance for our French bulldog since he was three months old. He has had one major surgery (brachycephalic airway surgery) and also a major ear infection caused by skin allergies. Both of these health issues would have cost us thousands of dollars out of pocket. Trupanion's coverage has saved us a ton of money. They pay their claims very quickly (usually I get a response within a day or two of the vet submitting the receipt and payment by check two weeks later) and we have never had an issue with getting reimbursed for his health issues. My one complaint with Trupanion is that their annual premium hikes are extremely high. We had the same rate for our first two years of coverage and as our policy is set to renew, our premium has increased by over twenty percent!! They claim that this is because of rising healthcare costs in our state (NY), but we haven't certainly noticed those level of increases. We would recommend Trupanion, but buyer should beware that your premiums can increase quite dramatically from year to year. For a dog prone to health issues like a French bulldog, pet insurance is an absolute must.

Praising the Lord for ASPCA Pet Insurance!
Our Toy Poodle will be 16 in August, Our old instance just quit his coverage because of his age, several years ago. Senior animals needcare too! Thank heavens for ASPCA, we are senior citizens too, and it has been such a blessing to have their help with Ramb's care! I recommend them to everyone! M F

Wow! Better then I ever expected!
My dog had glaucoma in one eye, Healthy paws was the only pet insurance company that was willing to cover my dog's good eye. When I actually needed to make an eye related claim I never expected anything thinking they would say "Pre Existing Condition" but Healthy Paws reimbursed me for exactly what they said they would: testing, treatment and prescriptions were covered. To top it all off I receive my reimbursement check within a week!

Glad to have the ASPCA Pet Insurance
I have pleased with my ASPCA Pet Insurance for my cat and dog. The insurance has helped me with numerous visits to the ER from adventure eating to major health issues. The insurance has been beneficial for those incidences as well as for the regular well and sick visits to the regular veterinarian. I have recommended your insurance to many of my friends.

EXCELLENT HEALTHCARE COVERAGE & CLAIMS TURNAROUND!
We have had 2 dogs (with no insurance - who lived to be 13, & 12 each having a couple of expense procedures/incidents during their lives,) prior to the current Dog & Cat, so we were skeptical how "pet insurance" would work or if the expense would be worth it. Then as luck would have it, 3 mo. after signing up for Healthy Paws Pet insurance, our 5 yr. old Basset experienced her fist UTI & then 2 wks later had an episode of eating steel chips which required a hospital stay, etc.... Needless to say we are now completely SOLD on Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. We will never again own a pet without signing them up from the initial vet. visit! I phoned customer service on our 1st claim and the young man told me exactly how to fill out the form and send in the doc. notes, prior vet history info, current bill & form even though it did not meet the deductible, ...it would go towards the annual deductible (just like human health care). Then unfortunately we had the steel chip accident (second claim) within a couple weeks of the 1st, and with our 80/20, 250 deductible, Healthy Paws processed our claim (one day after our faxed submission) and had a check sent within the week. I was truly amazed! With Healthy Paws Pet Insurance we received great Customer Care from real people who are truly caring pet owners themselves, Excellent Claims processing and e-mail communications as well as phone communications, and Quick Turnaround with payment. If there is an accident or illness/injury I MOST HIGHLY RECOMEND GETTING PET INSURANCE AND DEFFINTLY HEALTHY PAWS PET INSURANCE. They run their Insurance Business the way we all WISH Insurance would be handled! P.S. It was "Ruff" but Our Basset made a full recovery too!

ASPCA Pet Insurance a Life Saver
I signed up for ASPCA Pet Insurance about 5 years ago and little did I know just how important it would become. My handsome patched tabby, Dan, was diagnosed with cancer a couple of months ago and although his situation turned out to be best case scenario, he still required ultrasounds, bloodwork and biopsies, surgery, and chemotherapy. Thus far he has been cancer free and in remission. I can honestly say that without ASPCA coverage we would not have been able to afford to get Dan the treatment he needed and he wouldn't be with us today.
