I am a vet tech. I worked at a large referral veterinary practice for 16 years. I have seen TONS of claims go through, and by FAR, the fastest, easiest to deal with and best, is Trupanion. I have seen horrible customer service from other companies (wait times up to 1 hour to talk to someone, payment for claims taking 4-6 WEEKS??), increasing premiums and deductibles for owners from other companies, you name it. Most of the staff where I worked...guess what company they use? Trupanion. If most of the clinic is using it, I think that speaks volumes.I personally have used Trupanion since it was Vetinsurance, and have submitted what is probably around $15 000 in claims. I have NEVER had a problem. After my claim is faxed or emailed, my claims start processing in less than an hour and I am verified by email. Trupanion pays my clinic DIRECTLY, so I only ever have to pay my 10% up front. NO OTHER COMPANY does that. There is no comparison to the rest if you ask me.... and I've SEEN them all in action. Keep up the good work Trupanion, you provide help to so many animals, and owners alike. You make a difference.

Prompt, Convenient Reimbursement
My reimbursement after deductible was prompt. I am happy with their customer service, and although their premiums are rather expensive, close to $90/month, I have been happy with the service.

Healthy Paws is the best!
I love Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. I'm so glad I chose them for my pet insurance company, I give them my highest recommendation. After doing research, I discovered Healthy Paws was the highest rated, with the best reviews and excellent customer satisfaction and from my own experiences, I can see why, I definitely made the right choice (This review includes Smitty GSP: vestibular disease, arthritis & hip dysphasia) I have 2 rescue dogs that both eventually developed medical issues, some very serious and having pet insurance enabled me to give them the best care possible, to move forward in doing what medically could be done to help them and I did not have to hesitate because of the financial costs. The premium cost is worth every penny juxtaposed with the cost of medical care I stress to everyone I know with pets to please get pet insurance, I know that most people without it, would have to make unfortunate decisions for their pets health if they do not have coverage and its distressing to think that happens so often.... I'm eager to share how wonderful Healthy Paws has been with everyone I know. Fantastic
Took out the Embrace Wellness Insurance on our 7 year old Shih Tzu in February and she went for her annual in April as well as a teeth cleaning and I was amazed at how fast Embrace paid the claim. I mailed the invoice to them on a Friday and by the next Thursday I received an email telling me it had been reviewed and accepted and they were cutting a check for the services. Sure wish my personal health insurance was as efficient.

Super fast service! Whew!
I submitted my claim for my almost 9 year old dog for a breathing and coughing issue. The vet bill was much higher than I expected ~ mostly because it was an urgent visit and they squeezed me in to address the issue immediately.In addition to the breathing and coughing issue, my dog lost interest in his food (MAJOR RED FLAG), so we were very concerned about his health. a lot of money later, he is improving and my worst fear (Cancer) was not the issue! whew! I submitted my documents as soon as I got out of the vet office and got an email the next day that my claim was approved and taken care of !!! Embrace has given me the best peace of mind for my precious dog, Chance.

Excellent Program
Our cat was vomiting for 5 days and we were very worried. We took him to our Vet for a check up and blood work. We are very happy with our claim and how it was handled. It helps us out a lot and we are so thankful for this insurance.
