Not good at ALL with TURN around time on payments. Had to keep calling to see if they got records after VET DID send..they say they never get records. Called numerous times to keep informed of investigation. Went in 2021 to Blue Pearl only for a second opinion and was only time Bella was there. This is 2024/2025 and they STILL want records for this VET!!!!!! There is NOTHING TO TELL YOU FROM THIS VET!! Bellas' VET is FAMILY PET CLINIC #2. Talked to a service rep and did not know his/her job. Asked to speak to a supervisor rep was not happy I asked for Supervisor. Told me that he could do what the Supervisor would do. This claim Finally got settled through the good graces of Shelby a Supervisor. Now March 3rd had to take Bella to Vet again she woke up and could not use her back legs or walk. Diagnosis was Arthritis of the spine and some in the knees. Put on anti-Inflammatory med, recheck in two weeks. March 17th recheck for Bella and given a vaccine shot. NOE with these two claims having the same trouble. They are waiting to hear from Blue Pearl too!! LIKE I SAID! This was for a second opinion in 2021!!!!! She has not been there since, or I hope she does not have to return her, because if she does this would be for a SERIOUS ILLNESS! I have written on the FRONT of the Invoice I sent that She only goes to the above VET. Family Pet #2!! Hope my claim gets settled soon Now it is March 20th waiting for a claim from March 3rd and March 17th. I have had another insurance for Bella and NEVER had any trouble like this. The adjusters are not on top of things here. Just post an e- mail. Never calls to reach out to customer. I have put plenty of calls into Embrace. One thing I can say the Marcey, Morgan, Dillon, Danielle and Tyler, have tried to help from Embrace it is the adjusters lacking something!! Right now, not happy with Embrace!

If you have pets, then Embrace Pet Insurance is a must!
Listen, Listen, Listen pet owners! If you have pets and do not have pet insurance, then you need to put your Takis down and get on the phone (or computer) and enroll your pets in Embrace Pet Insurance, like now. If you are a USAA member and you have pets, we need to talk because you are missing out. Where should I start? First, USAA members get preferential treatment when it comes to how they take phone calls and how claims are processed. For example, USAA members are moved to the front of the line for customer service and policy related questions. Second, claims are processed within an average of an hour. To be more specific, my last claim was submitted and processed within four minutes with a reimbursement direct deposited into my account two days later. Third, this is pet insurance that you can afford, but insurance that you cannot live without. Qualified claims are reimbursed at 90/10 after a decreasing $150 deductible by $50.00/ healthy year without claims. Fourth, claims are so easy to submit, my cats could submit their own claims (if they learned how to use a computer of course). Just start a claim, upload the Invoice, upload the soap notes, enter the diagnosis, chose the animal in question, press submit and enjoy. It is that easy. Fifth, my pet insurance premiums is low, and I receive a discount for each subsequent animal. Oh yeah! Some additional things to consider: Embrace Pet Insurance representatives are respectful and responsive. They are quick to answer your questions without the phone call shuffle. PLUS, they care when your fur baby is sick. In all, if don't have pet insurance, and you have pets or you are a USAA member who has pets, then you should get on covering your pets. You never know when you will need it, but you will be glad to have this insurance when you do need it.

Worst experience ever
Worst experience ever. They used extremely flimsy claims of preexisting conditions to deny every single dollar that I sent in for reimbursement. Yes, literally every single dollar over an entire year of reimbursement claims were denied. Avoid like the plague. #freeluigi

Pre-exisiting condition--everything is!
Absolutely everything is a "pre-existing condition" even a tummy upset aka colitis. Wouldn't even apply the vet bill toward our annual deductible. This is the worst experience. You think you're doing the best for your pet and all you get is SCREWED.

Spot Ins has always processed my claims quickly, like within a week! It’s so easy to upload your vet info and invoice. I’ve been very happy with Spot. Of course, the premium goes up quite a lot, but my fur baby is worth it!!

Delayed Reimbursement due to Spot error…
The claim was not able to be processed and was told the bank rejected the deposit. Contacted the bank and was informed no document of check attempted to be deposit. It was disclosed a Spot employee must have entered the wrong number to deposit. 2 checks were supposed to be mailed on 03-06 and 03-11-25. To this day neither checks have arrived. After entering bank information subsequent claims were able to be deposited. Why can’t the first two be again direct deposit as it was NOT my error that the wrong information was submitted. Spot has done NOTHING to correct their error. Very dissatisfied
