very helpful to new pet insurers

The only reason I'm not giving a 10 is I've never had pet insurance before. The staff has been excellent in helping me understand the insurance process and filing/handing claims. Our dog is a rescue without a medical history so we wanted to be prepared for any problems. This has been a great help.

Poster Child For Pet Insurance

Our poor golden retriever has had such a tough year! She has had to have 3 surgeries, two of them major, in the last 5 months. I can't say enough about the service we have had from Embrace - they have processed the claims we've sent in quickly and have provided coverage for everything. What a relief this has been during such a difficult time. We have now had pet insurance for our dogs for 9 years and we tell all pet parents we know what a good investment it is! You happen - sometimes in bunches like it did for us this year.

Easy Process, Good Service

We didn't know exactly what we would need insurance for, except that our dog always ended up in the Vet a few times a year for something. Then, earlier this year he developed some issues with his back right leg. Embrace has done a good job covering the various tests and procedures and I definitely feel I've gotten my money's worth and more.

Grateful to Embrace

Nikki had very bad teeth and needed to be taken care. 15 teeth removed due to resoption and fractures. Bill was almost $2K. Embrace covered 50%, would have been more, but I already hit some maximums. Took the pressure off of amount spent. Plus they were so helpful before and after claim filed. I always recommend EMBRACE. Thanks to D Fellon and Embrace, Nikki is just great!

Great insurance for my dog!

We had an eye emergency that needed emergency surgery and many follow up visits and Embrace covered all of them! So thankful that we have it for our baby!

Affordable coverage of ALL treatments!

Two years ago I was grateful for Embrace's excellent coverage of three (very expensive!) ACL and cataract surgeries in one year for our Danes - and the continued coverage of the expensive eye drops. Today, I'm even more thankful they cover "special" treatments like chiropractic and aquapressure (like acupuncture), and nerve stimulation, without a special "rider" like other companies. Because 3 months ago, our old Dane girl injured her spinal nerve, resulting in "ataxia" (partial paralysis) of her hind end. She could barely stagger. And you can't carry a 145 lb. Great Dane! But Embrace's regular policy covers these "special" treatments, and they helped. She is still shaky, but she can climb up onto her low bed, and even tries to scamper across the yard again. We are so grateful to Embrace for helping our old Dane girl be happy and comfortable in her last months.

ASPCA is the best pet insurance out there

Having ASPCA Pet Insurance has come thru so many times in the past many years. With three small dogs, my Yorkie the oldest at almost 13 yrs has had several big surgeries. ACL and kneesurgery, MRI for diagnosing dementia signs, now on meds for high blood pressure. Each time involving specialists and each time their insurance came thru with payments in no time. Our other 2 dogs have also experienced very expensive tests and always prompt payment from ASPCA I definitely recommend ASPCA Insurance.

Must pay deductible for EVERY ailment

Premiums have continued to increase (started at $40/month), now 4 years later they are over $75/month. They say as soon as you hit your deductible they cover 90%, but that's for EVERY ailment. My Pug had to have surgery on her ear, but it wasn't covered even though she's had tremendous issues with her ears. They considered it different and so we had to pay the deductible AGAIN. She's now had to have two surgeries and neither was covered. I tried to cancel but was convinced to stay last year because we had already hit "all our deductibles" but they just returned our latest surgery claims as denied due to needing to pay another deductible. I have paid $3,000 in premiums plus thousands in vet bills they didn't cover. I wish I had self-insured, would have been cheaper!
