No hassles with claims
I have been very pleased with Embrace Pet Insurance. My vet office files the claims for me and I receive reimbursement checks quickly. My dog has had a couple fairly serious illnesses/injuries this year. Thanks to Embrace, I did not have to worry about expensive vet bills. If your dog is part of your family, it makes sense to get pet insurance. I am very glad I purchased it for my dog.

Embrace Embrace Pet Insurance
Is it worth the money? Yes, absolutely. The peace of mind pet insurance gives pet owners is worth the dollars put out for the insurance. I am so happy I did. I swore my next pet would be insured. My first pug experienced many medical problems as she grew older. Expenses I found hard to meet on a fixed income. When she passed, I adopted two more pugs. I purchased the insurance from Embrace and I am happy I did. Their yearly physicals and medications are covered as it the over the counter water additive to combat doggie breath. I will continue their insurance as they age...keeping in mind that they are worth it. After all, their love is without strings..so should mine be.

Horrible Company
Well I guess I will submit my review for the second time since my first one was not published. I have to wonder how many negative reviews this company filters out. My first review is no different than the one that follows. It contains facts. Period. We purchased a no limit policy in Feb 2017 for our rescue dog. In May he got sick. Vomiting and diarrhea. Our regular vet prescribed some meds. A few weeks later he had a relapse with vomiting that was so severe he vomited 5 times in a single morning. We took him to the hospital where they performed x-rays, ultrasound, gave him fluids and kept him overnight. We left with a multitude of prescriptions. Both the vet bill and the hospital bill were submitted and both were summarily denied. They claimed that the diarrhea was a pre-existing condition. What? He was diagnosed with gastroenteritis. A symptom of that is diarrhea. The diarrhea was not the sickness. Needless to say we are now stuck with thousands of dollars of medical bills. We have cancelled our policy and went back to PetPlan. We never would have left PetPlan who we used for over 10 years with our previous dog but when we got our rescue, they were not offering the unlimited coverage. They do now and it is much less expensive than the coverage offer by Trupanion and it has a lower deductible. As a result of this denial, we had a very long conversation with our vet who recommended Trupanion. They acknowledged that they were rethinking recommending them because of the extreme rate increases and because some of their staff members had claims that were denied for the exact same thing....diarrhea. Since then they have stopped recommending them and have pulled all the Trupanion brooches from their waiting room. Stay away from this company. They are dishonest and will not pay the claim. I suspect that a lot of the positive reviews here are fake.

Minor Surgery
My six year old female English Pointer had a problem with cysts on her side and a big one on her tail. While not expensive surgery, under$700, the quick response and the check I received from Embrace was a big help. Thanks Embrace.

Efficient Reimbursement Process
Over the six years I have had ASPCA insurance I have made two claims. The most recent was for treatment for toenail bed squamous cell cancer and toe amputation. Filing the claim was easy and reimbursement was fast. I am pleased with the service.

Great company- Great service
My 3 year old Golden tore ligaments in both rear legs and required surgery.A operation was required to repair the damage which appears to have been a success. The cost of the surgery exceeded $6000.00 and the Embrace claim was processed in less than two weeks. I could not be happier with the quick response I received from Embrace!

Consistently Excellent Experiences
My husband and I have two dogs and two cats that are covered by Trupanion. One cat in particular has had some serious medical issues. He had been struggling with urinary tract blockages, but we were trying to treat it medically and with a prescription diet. Unfortunately that didn't work. One week ago he had a crisis, and his bladder ruptured. I rushed him to an urgent care veterinary clinic. After many tests and treatments to stabilize him, he had surgery to repair the bladder and perform a perineal urethrostomy (so hopefully this won't happen again). Trupanion charged us the deductible ONCE, even though Max had seen three different doctors, and then paid 90% of the rather large bill. No questions asked. We are so impressed with Trupanion, and recommend that everyone with pets invest in this insurance. It allowed us to have the peace of mind to be able to tell the doctors to do whatever was necessary to save Max. Max is home now and healing beautifully! Thank you Trupanion!
