Not worth it.
I was a loyal customer for 6 years, filing only two claims during that period. When I did file claims, I was receiving 15-18% on some of the the actual cost incurred, as they only payout for their “estimated costs”. By the end of the 6th year, my plan had increased by 100% from the original price, and over 33% in just one year. At the end of the day, I spent 2,000 - 3,000 more on the insurance plan, then if I paid out of pocket. Scam.

My dog had a skin tag prior to getting the insurance so when he was diagnosed with a large cancer mass they said it was pre existing condition! Never buy this insurance they have an excuse for every condition your dog may have.

Don't know what we'd do without Healthy Paws
We couldn't be happier with our Healthy Paws policy, their level of professionalism, customer service, and their responsiveness. Our dog recently became very ill and required hospitalization for about 10 days. The costs were overwhelming, in the thousands of dollars. Within days of filing our claim we received a personal email from a Healthy Paws rep (Tim Weiss) asking us how our dog was doing and checking on her recovery. About a week after filing our claim we received our reimbursement check in the mail. Filing claims online is also very easy, taking only seconds to update invoices with no additional information required. We plan on recommending Healthy Paws to all of our pet owner friends and also adding a policy for our cat. We're fortunate to have been covered during such a scary (and costly) period and are very thankful to the help we got from Healthy Paws.

I have been a member since 2014. I have covered both of my cats since they were kittens. I only have good things to say about Embrace and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to insure their pets. When it has been time for repayment, Embrace is quick and without drama. I only have two words left. GET IT. For me, the tell you about my pet section isn't accurate, because I am telling you about my overall experience.

Very thankful for Embrace!
This review is a little late so bear with me but I spent the entire summer dealing w/my little rascals stomach bug, virus, whatever he got into. My total expenditures on my wonderful Finn were close to $1,000! After hitting my $300 deductible Embrace covered 80%! Without my insurance it would have been a much more expensive summer! Finn gives Embrace an A+

Knowing you have insurance on my pets is comfortin
I have an Abyssinian and have to be diligent about taking care of his teeth. Having this insurance Gives me a peace of mind when making decisions for his health care. The Aspca is wonderful to deal with and found them to be so compassionate when I lost my other cat. Quick and easy filing for each claim. If you love your pet this company is a necessity.

Looking for any excuse to not insure your claim
Our precious 1-year-old cat deteriorated very quickly within a few days. After putting it to sleep, we got a blood test result back that he had high amounts of the FIP virus. Healthy Paws refused to insure our claim, claiming that he had a pre-existing condition of having trouble walking with his hind legs, which the vets said was cerebellar hypoplasia. Even though the vets said it was something else, Healthy Paws was quick to point out that because of this "condition" which was present during our waiting period, they cannot insure our claim. Our cat clearly had an illness, but because they claimed there was a pre-existing condition that didn't necessarily have to do with the virus (with no medical proof), they refused to reimburse our thousands of dollars to watch our cat die. They went against our vet reports to pinpoint that single condition to not insure our cat.

Great pet insurance!
I have two dogs and Embrace has been extremely responsive and easy to work with on all of my claims! They have covered everything that they said they would and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for insurance. Their claims process is personal, easy to navigate and quick too!
